E-liquid
E-liquid, or vape juice, is the fluid used in an e-cig or vape kit that, when heated, produces the vapour you inhale. E-Liquid is available in lots of sizes, flavours and nicotine strengths. E-liquids come in a range of options including premixed, nicotine salts, which give a smooth throat hit, or shortfill, that you can add your own nicotine to. No matter if you're experienced or new to vaping, there’s a huge choice of e liquid brands, strengths and flavours to choose from.

Which e-liquid?
E-cigs are around 95% safer than smoking and, with so many e-liquid options, they also give people much more choice, from flavours and nicotine strengths right down to the throat hit you can expect. Choosing an e-liquid comes down to personal choice, but there are several things to consider when deciding.
PG or VG?
E-liquid is a mix of nicotine and flavour mixed with one of two diluents, PG (propylene glycol) or VG (vegetable glycerine). All e-liquid will have a ratio of PG to VG, and these base liquids are what deliver the nicotine and produce the vapour you inhale. The ratio you use affects the throat hit, the amount of cloud and strength of flavour, so it's worth figuring out the ratio you want. Our guide to PG & VG can help you decide.
Direct to Lung or Mouth to Lung Vaping
Direct to lung vaping (DL) is a vaping style where vapour is inhaled directly to the lungs, essentially by taking a big breath. Mouth to lung vaping is closer to traditional smoking, where you hold vapour in your mouth for a short space of time before inhaling into the lungs. Different e-liquids are better suited to each of these styles. To find out which ones are best, take a look at The Best Mouth to Lung e-liquids and The Best Direct Lung e-liquid.
Nicotine Strength
New vapers in particular need to pay attention to the nicotine strength of their e-liquid. If it’s too low you may find you still have a craving, but have too much, and you could end up feeling sick. As a general rule, the amount you smoked previously can indicate which nicotine strength you should go for. Get help Choosing The Right Nicotine Strength.
Flavours
There’s a great number of flavours to choose from with e-liquids, and it all comes down to personal taste. Vape juices come in different flavour profiles and include things like desserts, menthols or fruits. The different types of e-liquid
Once you’ve figured out the various elements of e-liquid, or maybe you’re a seasoned vaper wanting to try something new, you can explore different e-liquids from premixed to hybrid styles and even make your own.
Pre-Mixed E-liquid
By far the most popular choice with vapers, our large range of 10ml pre-mixed liquid offers hundreds of flavours, including high VG, high PG, and 50/50 options. Some bestselling brands include Double Drip, Element, Pocket Fuel and Riot Squad.
Pre-mixed is a great option for those who want an e liquid to just pick up and vape. It has the biggest choice of flavours and can be used in any type of e cig. You can also grab these liquids in our great value multi-buy deals.
Nicotine Salt E-liquid
Nic salt e liquid closely mimics the salts found in the tobacco leaf. They can deliver a smooth throat hit, even at high strengths and are ideal for use with e-cigs like vape pods and starter kits.
Nic salts would suit vapers that want to use the highest strength nicotine without the harshness found in regular freebase e liquids. It is best when paired with a higher resistance vape coil for an ideal experience.
Hybrid Nicotine
Hybrid nicotine such as Riot Squad PUNX is a balance between freebase nicotine and nic salt. It gives a sharper throat hit like freebase nicotine but provides the same absorption rate as nic salts, so vapers also get a fast nicotine hit.
This liquid is great for almost any e cig. It gives you the same satisfying throat hit found in regular liquid, with the controlled nicotine delivery found in nic salts.
Shortfill Vape Liquid
Shortfill e liquids come without the nicotine. However, there is space in each bottle to add a nicotine shot of your chosen strength. You can get these liquids in 50ml, 100ml and 150ml bottles. Compared to premixed and other 10ml bottles, shortfill is a much better value option.
Because shortfill has a high VG mix, it’s best to pair it with sub ohm vape tanks for the best experience. And don’t forget, when you buy from us, you will get a free nic shot with every bottle added to the basket!
Nic Shots
These are added to shortfill e-liquids, or when mixing your own, and are used to add or increase nicotine strength. They are available in high VG, nic salt, and 50/50 options and can work out as more cost effective.
Why not try different combinations of nic shots to find out which mix you prefer? Nic salts will give you a more controlled nicotine hit, while 50/50 will help to increase the throat hit. Whatever you choose, you’ll get a free nic shot with every bottle of shortfill you buy!
