What Is Shortfill E Liquid?

Shortfill e-liquids are nicotine-free juices sold in larger sizes than the standard 10ml. Shortfills are only 80% filled with flavoured e-liquid, allowing space for the addition of nic shots to increase the nicotine strength to your desired tastes and giving you full control. Shortfills contain a high VG (Vegetable glycerine) ratio, this is a thick liquid that creates vapour and a weaker flavour when heated. This actually produces a better flavour overall when used with sub ohm vape kits as high VG e-liquid is designed to be vaped at higher wattages with low resistance coils, producing thicker clouds of vapour therefore ideal for direct-lung vapers and cloud chasers.

The other main ingredient is PG (Propylene glycol), high levels of PG produce less vapour with a stronger flavour and throat hit. A high PG e-liquid vaped at a high wattage will be overpowering and unpleasant, with the vape and flavour too intense to get a satisfying taste.

Sub ohm vaping goes through more e-liquid than other methods and therefore requires multiple 10ml bottles of e-liquid depending on how often you vape. Shortfill e-liquid provides a solution to this as it comes in larger bottles, most commonly in 50ml and 100ml. This allows vapers to carry all the e-liquid they will need in one bottle.
