Sub-Ohm Vape Coils
Sub-ohm vape coils are ideal for producing large clouds of vapour and intense flavour. Any coil under 1.0ohm resistance is known as sub-ohm, and are generally best suited for use with high powered vape tanks and e-cig mods. Choose from some of the biggest brands available such as Aspire, SMOK, VOOPOO, Innokin, GeekVape and more. Certain sub-ohm coils are also available in mesh, which has a larger suface area to produce bigger clouds and even better flavour. Read More about sub-ohm vape coils.
Sub-Ohm Vape Coils
Here you can find a wide range of sub-ohm vape coils. Ideal for any vaper who wants to produce large clouds of vapour, sub-ohm coils are available in various resistance ranges to help you find the best vaping experience to suit personal preference.
What are Sub Ohm Coils?
Any coil with a resistance below 1.0ohm is considered sub-ohm. If a coil exceeds this it is considered a high resistance coil.
One of the benefits of using these coils is that the lower the resistance is the more e-liquid and be absorbed. This is due to the larger wicking holes which allow thick vape juice to be absorbed. Thick e-liquid has a high content, the ingredient that creates the cloud of vapour when heated. Vapers looking to produce large clouds of vapour should use high VG e-liquid with low resistance sub-ohm coils to deliver the best results. High VG e-liquid also isn’t as harsh as other vape juice so the experience using it with sub-ohm coils delivers a smoother vape.
These types of coils require a higher output wattage to perform. On the side of each coil should be a recommended wattage range. This indicates the power setting this coil performs best at. If the power is too high then it will probably burn, whereas if it is too low the devices will struggle to heat up the e-liquid to produce the vapour.
Sub-ohm Coils From Top Brands
GeekVape Sub Ohm Coils
GeekVape have a variety of sub-ohm coils available designed to deliver the best vaping experience. The P coils are designed to be used with the Obelisk 60 pod kit and come in 0.5ohm and 0.4ohm resistances great for direct-lung vaping with most e-liquid. The GeekVape Z coils are designed to be used with the Zeus tank and come in 0.4ohm and 0.2ohm resistances. Like with the P series coils from GeekVape, these are push fit for easy and mess free replacements.
The Aegis Nano Pods come in packs of 2 as they come with a built-in coil. Designed to be used with the GeekVape Aegis Nano kit, the 0.6ohm resistance is suitable for a variety of e-liquids and performs best between 20-25W.
VOOPOO Sub Ohm Coils
Although the brand has a huge selection of devices, they have just two coil ranges. The VOOPOO PnP coils come in a wide range of resistances to suite both mouth-to-lung and direct lung vapers and are compatible with many VOOPOO kits including the DRAG X. The sub-ohm resistances are polar with DL vapers as they have large wicking holes ideal for vaping with high VG e-liquid and the PnP tank that uses these coils has a fully adjustable airflow. This allows vapers to adjust the airflow and select the coil resistance to deliver the perfect vape.
The TPP coils are designed for cloud chasing and come in low resistances with large wicking holes that can absorb thicker e-liquid to produce huge clouds of vapour. Compatible with the TPP tank, these coils come with many of the popular VOOPOO kits such as the DRAG 3.
