How Do I Make My Own E-liquid?

To make your own e-liquid, you will need the following.

VG - Vegetable glycerine is a thick diluent that makes up a large part of the e-liquid. It is designed to create the vapour when heated.

PG - Propylene glycol is another diluent that creates the throat hit to provide the sensation of smoking. It also makes up large amount of the e-liquid and is what carries the flavour.

Flavour concentrates - These concentrates are added to the liquid to give it the desired flavour. Mix and match flavours to create your owm bespoke taste.

Nicotine shot - This adds the nictone to the e-liquid. The amount added will determine the strength.

What PG/VG Ratio should I Use?

It is important to make sure the DIY vape liquid is right for the kit or tank. 50/50 PG/VG vape juice can be used with almost any vape kit as they are well-balanced and suitable for both sub-ohm and regular vapers. High VG vape juice is best for kits and tanks that use low resistance coils. For MTL vape kits a higher VG may cause dry hits. This is because the coils will struggle to wick a thicker vape juice.

How Do I Make DIY E-liquid Safely?

Do not add anything to a DIY e-liquid that isn’t a regulated vaping diluent, nicotine base or flavour concentrate. Even something as simple as adding honey to your DIY e-liquid may not seem harmful. However, it will immediately burn the coil while also making it unsafe to use.
