Shortfill E-liquids
Shortfill e-liquids are bottles that contain less liquid than their full capacity, leaving space for you to add nicotine shots (nic-shots) if desired. These e-liquids typically have a higher VG (Vegetable Glycerine) content, which makes them thicker and produces larger clouds of vapour. They are designed for use with sub-ohm vape kits that operate at higher wattages and low-resistance coils, delivering a more intense vaping experience with richer flavours and bigger vapour clouds. Shortfills e-liquids are particularly popular among direct-lung vapers and those who enjoy cloud chasing, as they allow for greater control over nicotine strength while offering a smoother, more enjoyable vape. The other main ingredient is PG (Propylene glycol), which produces less vapour with a stronger flavour and throat hit.
Adding Nic Shots (Free Nic Shots included)
Shortfill e-liquids are provided in 50ml or 100ml partially filled bottles, leaving room for a 10ml nic-shot or 2 x10ml nic shots for your personal preference. Nic shots usually come flavourless to avoid interfering with the flavour of your e-liquid, but menthol nic shots are also available if you prefer a cooling effect. You can also choose from different PG/VG ratios. Most come in a 70:30 VG to PG mix but if you want the nicotine without compromising on cloud production, you can also get high VG mixes with an 80:20 blend to match your flavoured juice.

What Is Shortfill E Liquid?
Shortfill e-liquids are nicotine-free juices sold in larger sizes than the standard 10ml. Shortfills are only 80% filled with flavoured e-liquid, allowing space for the addition of nic shots to increase the nicotine strength to your desired tastes and giving you full control. Shortfills contain a high VG (Vegetable glycerine) ratio, this is a thick liquid that creates vapour and a weaker flavour when heated. This actually produces a better flavour overall when used with sub ohm vape kits as high VG e-liquid is designed to be vaped at higher wattages with low resistance coils, producing thicker clouds of vapour therefore ideal for direct-lung vapers and cloud chasers.
The other main ingredient is PG (Propylene glycol), high levels of PG produce less vapour with a stronger flavour and throat hit. A high PG e-liquid vaped at a high wattage will be overpowering and unpleasant, with the vape and flavour too intense to get a satisfying taste.
Sub ohm vaping goes through more e-liquid than other methods and therefore requires multiple 10ml bottles of e-liquid depending on how often you vape.
