What Are Disposable Pod Kits?
Disposable pods are simple prefilled tanks that are a perfect introduction to vaping. They use a rechargeable battery and are already filled with liquid. Also, they have pre-installed coils, so all that’s needed when the liquid runs out is to replace the pod. These devices work using inhale-activated auto draw. Plus, they produce a smaller amount of vapour, which helps to mimic smoking.
They are also an ideal companion for existing MTL vapers, who will appreciate the small size and ease of use. Additional pods are compact, so spares can be carried around without the need for liquid bottles or coils. Also, changing the flavour is as simple as swapping the pod.
Pre-filled pods are perfect disposable alternatives. One of the main downsides to single-use kits is the impact on the environment, as a battery is discarded with every device. These are harmful if not properly disposed of. Pre-filled pod kits don’t have this issue as you keep and recharge the battery. Also, they’re much cheaper as a pack of 2 costs about the same as a disposable but has twice as many puffs.

How To Use A Disposable Pod Kit
Remove the packaging and charge the device. Most already have some battery, but topping them up first is best practice.
Take off the rubber seals from the pod. ELFA Pro and Elf Bar Mate P1 pods also need to be pushed on the bottom to prime the coil.
Insert the pod into the battery, this usually magnetizes into place. The device is now ready to vape.
When the pod starts to taste burnt, or you want to change flavours, repeat these steps to replace it.

How Many Puffs Are In Disposable Pods?
Disposable pods contain anywhere from 2ml of e-liquid, which is up to 600 puffs, all the way up to 2 x 1ml + 2 x 10ml for up to 25,000 puffs. Puff count changes depending on personal use. Heavy smokers may go through multiple 2ml pods per day for example. Each pack of 2ml pods has around 1200 puffs, whereas a pack of 2 x 1ml + 2 x 10ml Hayati Ultra pods will have up to 25,000 puffs.
How Do I Charge A Disposable Pod Kit?
Pre-filled pod kits use USB-C quick charging at the bottom of the battery. Some don’t include a cable, check the product when purchasing. JUUL devices use a magnetic USB charger that is supplied with the batteries.
How Do I Know When To Change The Pod?
Most disposable pods are clear, so you can see the liquid levels. Another way to tell if the juice has run out or the coil has reached the end of its lifespan is a burnt taste when vaping. When this happens simply replace the pod with a new one.

Pre-filled pod kits can be taken on a plane. Most airlines only allow up to 20 batteries onboard. Since pre-filled pod devices only have one battery, this same limit doesn’t apply.
