About Vape Pods

A vape pod works by having a battery and a ‘pod’ which usually contains a built-in coil, although these can be replaced on certain models. The pods can sometimes be supplied pre-filled with e-liquid or require filling prior to usage. Most vape pods have automatic batteries, which activate when vapers inhale, helping to simulate the sensation of smoking.

As mentioned above, there are two different types of vape pod: open system and closed system. These both serve different functions and can cater to the individual needs of a vaper. What are the best vape e-liquids for pod kits?
A lot of vapers have started to use bar salt liquids with their vape pods. These kits are well suited to the often higher nicotine strength and vape experience bar salt provides.
Bar salt e-liquid goes best with MTL pod kits such as the Joyetech EVIO Grip. This type of liquid delivers the same strong flavours found in the disposables that you know and love. We have a fantastic selection of bar salts inspired by sweet and intense flavours found in your favourite disposables such as the Elf Bar 600 V2 and the SKE Crystal Bar.
However, not all pod kits are designed for mouth to lung vaping. Devices such as the Eleaf i75 use sub ohm coils which work best with high VG e-liquid. This type of liquid performs best at a high wattage and produces thick clouds of vapour.
50/50 e-liquid can be used with almost any vape pod kit. This is because it has a balance of PV and VG which is suitable for both mouth to lung and direct lung vaping. This makes it a great starting point for new vapers.
