A look back at our very own vaping icon
Every once in a while, a product is launched which creates a new standard in its industry… Our very own Titan vape liquid launched in 2009 and remains as strong today as it has ever been.
We’re taking a look back to see how this e-liquid became a pioneer in the UK vaping landscape, evolving into something of an icon amongst certain veteran vapers who remember the ‘good old days’.
The History Of Titan Vape Liquid
Way back in 2009, after The Electronic Cigarette Company had completed its first year helping people to break free from the chains of smoking, we realised that something was missing.
Back then, the vaping industry had a woefully small selection of e-liquid variety, with most e-cigs offering either pre-filled tobacco, menthol and the occasional token gesture fruit flavour. The quality would also wildly differ from product to product.
We decided that in order for vaping to become more attractive to smokers, and to give existing vapers more choice, e-liquid had to move forward, so we set off to create something new and exciting.
First and foremost, the liquid had to offer the highest quality possible, coupled with a delicious selection of flavours.
We then had to think of a name, something that would make a big, bold statement…and thus Titan was born.
To offer vapers the chance to use their own bottle of e-liquid to refill an e-cig tank was, at the time, a huge step forward from the sea of pre-filled options that vaping initially offered.
It didn’t take long for Titan to quickly become popular with vapers all over the country, as word spread about the many flavours available and the ability to refill an e-cig quickly and easily.
The launch of our wildly popular Tornado-T e-cig in 2010 helped to cement Titan as the premium e-liquid of choice for vapers in the UK.
In the years’ that followed, Titan gained a healthy reputation for offering a high quality vape experience that could complement virtually any e-cig, becoming somewhat of a household name with vapers as time passed.
Present Day
The industry has changed substantially since 2009, with the arrival of higher VG vape liquids tailored towards larger clouds of vapour with a huge range of flavours.
Despite having relatively limited flavours by today’s standards, Titan stubbornly refuses to be outmatched by its competitors and has remained unchanged, continuing to provide the same experience it has always offered.
With the popularity of vaping growing each year, Titan subsequently found a new home in vape stores up and down the country, and can be purchased in more places now than ever before.
As the industry moves forward (very quickly we might add), there are select few products that manage to ride out whatever is thrown at them; Titan is one of these products, one that we are sure will still be here in another 10 years’ time.
