A supercharged vape pod
The SMOK Fetch Pro is unlike virtually anything we usually see from this e-cig manufacturer. Like its predecessor the Fetch Mini, SMOK have created a kit with heaps of style and substance.
Before we dive a little deeper into this eye-catching kit, lets take a quick look at the specs:

Appearance
The SMOK Fetch Pro takes cues from the Mini version, and incorporates a sleek and stylish design. Indeed, like the Fetch Mini, the Pro is up there with some of the best looking devices SMOK have produced.
The design is complemented by a vibrant colour screen, which is set on the side of the body. The pod is nicely angled to keep things in line with the rest of the design, which is a nice touch.
I also like how SMOK has taken the time to make sure each design choice complements the vaper. From the tactile body to the well positioned screen, the Fetch Pro is a real looker.
Whilst looks aren’t everything (especially with an e-cig) , it is nice to have a device which looks as well as it vapes.
Performance
The Fetch Pro looks great, however can it match its looks with its performance? The short answer is yes, but let’s take a deeper dive into this.
You have a couple of options with this device thanks to the RGC and RPM coil compatibility. I used this with the RGC coil to begin with, having used the RPM in previous devices and being quite impressed.
The RGC coils use something SMOK has dubbed the conical mesh system. This basically means the coil is wider at the bottom and becomes more narrow at the top (like a cone does), hence the name ‘conical’.
If you love cloud chasing then this coil is for you, it produces large amounts of vapour when used around 50-60W. The airflow is good and there were a few times I actually forgot I was vaping on a pod! I opted to use Urban Chase Shortfill for the duration of this review, and the higher VG mix really complemented the experience.
The RPM coils are good solid performers, ideal for those who would prefer a more toned down vape, without it feeling too under-powered.
Adjusting the settings was also nice and simple. The colour screen pops out at you with all the information you need, and helps provide a deeper sense of immersion into the vaping experience.
Ease Of Use
The SMOK Fetch Pro might pack in substantial features, but it remains accessible for all vapers. The screen is easy to read and the pods are about as simple as they come for coil changes and liquid top-ups.
If you want to refill, just pull out the pod and remove the silicone plug before topping up as required. The airflow can also be adjusted to suit your own needs while the pod is removed should you wish.
Some vapers (especially new ones), might find the addition of a screen and power settings a little daunting at first. The Fetch Pro makes adjusting power a breeze though, and most people will pick it up in no time at all.
The USB-C charging also makes things a little easier, not just by cutting down charge times, but also the ability to insert the charging cable any way round you like.
Overall, the SMOK Fetch Pro is very easy to use, and there is absolutely no reason why vapers couldn’t pick this up and vape right away.
Price
Most items with pro in the name usually mean paying a ‘pro’ price tag. This is not the case with the Fetch Pro. Priced at a reasonable £30.59, it is perhaps not quite a budget kit, but it’s hardly expensive either.
If you are looking to spend up to £30 on a new kit, then the Fetch Pro would be an ideal choice. It’s performance and ease of use make it suitable for a wide variety of vapers.
Target Audience
The SMOK Fetch Pro is well suited to many different vaping styles, and it succeeds because of that. The only people that it may not fully appeal to are true MTL vapers or, ironically, some vape pod users.
This is because the Fetch Pro does not truly have a MTL option, or the generally tighter draw you see on other vape pod kits. With this in mind however, it is still more than good enough for a large majority of people.
Verdict
I was quite impressed with this kit. I think it’s beautiful to look at, with enough substance underneath its glossy exterior to satisfy my vaping needs. It’s not a device I would usually consider (I love my box mods!), but I’ve been won over by it’s charm and performance.
It might be a vape pod at its core, but it aspires to be much more and it shows. The bottom line is that if you want a good looking, great performing e-cig that won’t break the bank, look no further than the Fetch Pro.
