SMOK Novo 5 Overview

The SMOK Novo 5 pod kit is the latest addition to the hugely successful Novo series. Featuring a built-in 900mAh battery, it will last most vapers a full day of use. Once the battery does run out it can be recharged quickly using the USB-C cable. It has a power range 5-30W and uses a 0.7ohm pod, making it suitable for both MTL and RDL vapers. A small screen on the face of the kit displays a variety of important settings such as the output power and battery life. Plus, it can detect the resistance of the coil being used. There are separate buttons to power the device and adjust the settings. This is a useful addition as it prevents the Novo 5 from accidentally firing when navigating the menu. Above the power button is a small ring that controls the airflow. To adjust simply rotate the ring to open or close the air inlet.

There are two ways to vape the Novo 5. The first is manually by pressing the power button to activate the coil. This technique is suited to those who prefer a thicker cloud of vapour. The other method is the auto draw function that will automatically activate the coil when inhaling into the mouthpiece. Weighing just 71g it is extremely lightweight, and its compact design makes it easy to store in a pocket or small bag.

Two pods come with this kit that features a built-in 0.7ohm coil. Each can hold up to 2ml of e-liquid and will last multiple refills before needing to be replaced. The resistance of the coil inside works best with nic salt or 50/50 e-liquid and is suited towards mouth-to-lung vaping.
