A Stylish Pod Mod That's Versatile & Fancy

VOOPOO has released its newest additions to the VMATE range: the Infinity and the E. Whilst I tested both devices, I feel like they need their own reviews. Today we’re going to be reviewing the VOOPOO VMATE E pod device. This newest addition to the VMATE family looks sleek and elegant, let’s take a closer look.
Appearance. A closer look at the VOOPOO VMATE E.

The VOOPOO VMATE E is a stunning looking kit. Featuring a leatherette panel on the face of the kit and a polished chrome finish, this device certainly looks stylish and elegant. The kit also features four LED lights that indicate the battery level. It’s a shame that the back doesn’t feature the same leatherette finish, as it’s a huge fingerprint magnet. But, that’s a minor issue. The device also features an adjustable airflow hole on the side and a USB-C charge port on the base.
My only issue with the style of this device is the lack of flat sides. I like to stand my e-cigs up when sitting at my desk, and that’s something you can’t do with this device.
The one that I tried was blue leatherette with a gunmetal finish. I think that this kit looks amazing and the build quality stands apart from similar devices like the GeekVape Sonder U or the Vaporesso Osmall.
Performance
With a 1200mah battery, this device lasts a decent amount of time. Easily enough to get a full day of use out of it, even when using the lower resistance coil. The kit comes supplied with both a 1.2ohm and 0.7ohm pod. I liked the 0.7ohm pod better, as I prefer a RDL draw rather than a true MTL draw. The draw of this device is consistent and is very versatile. The airflow slider means that any vaper can adjust the airflow to their preference. The USB-C charge on this device also means that it recharges in less than an hour, which is very convenient.
The kit performed like a lot of other pod mods on the market. Very simple to set up and use and it’s auto draw activated, meaning that there’s no buttons to press that’ll result in a burnt out pod in your pocket.
Ease of Use
As stated in performance, this kit is extremely easy to use. All you have to do is remove the pod, fill it through the port at the side and then wait 5-10 minutes. It’s that simple. The device is auto draw activated and is charged with USB-C quick charge.

Price.
The VMATE E is £24.99 which is a steep £11 increase above the VMATE Infinity, but the build quality speaks for itself. The VMATE E also comes with a cap that fits snuggly over the pod, meaning that it’s protected from dust and germs. There’s also the extra pod, meaning that vapers can try both and see which they prefer before buying more.
The pods are £4.49 for a pack of two, which is pretty good value.
Target Audience
This kit is aimed at MTL or RDL vapers who want as little fuss as possible. It has enough battery to last a full day, even as RDL and will be a perfect first kit or secondary kit for those with a bigger device.
VOOPOO VMATE E Final Verdict
The VOOPOO VMATE E is an elegant looking pod mod that performs well and looks even better. With a 1200mah battery, it’ll easily last a day and it recharges quickly with the USB-C charge port. Although I wouldn’t use this kit myself (as I’m a DL vaper at heart) it would be perfect for a MTL or RDL vaper.
