Matching the best kits to different types of vaper.

In this article...
There are lots of different kits, and they each appeal to different kinds of people. New vapers generally want a kit that’s as easy to use as possible and mimic smoking. Some users are looking for a nice mouth to lung draw, and others might want the larger clouds of a direct lung device. Then, there are restricted direct lung users, like myself, who are after something in between. Here’s a run down of the best kits for each type of vaper.
New Vapers
If you’re new to vaping then you’re probably a smoker and might not have a clue about vaping.

Mouth to lung
Let’s kick off with MTL in our look atthe best kits for each type of vaper.
MTL devices are where most vapers start, as they mimic the feel of smoking. A lot of pod kits, mentioned above, are mouth to lung. These work best with 50/50 liquids, which balance throat hit and vapour production. Another option is nic salts, that allow users of high nicotine strengths to vape without a throat hit.

Now we’ve passed the halfway point at our look atbest kits for each type of vaper.
RDL bridges the gap between MTL and direct lung, producing a reasonable amount of vapour but not massive clouds. They usually use coils between 0.4ohm and 0.8ohm, which can use higher VG liquids.

Direct to lung
DL focuses on huge clouds and intense flavour. These devices are better suited to advanced vapers, which are often large and have more complex features. If DL devices have an internal cell, it’s usually around 3000mAh, but they often have removable batteries that can be charged externally and swapped when they deplete. Also, heavy VG liquids are best for these kits, as they’re better for making clouds.
