The newest arc kit has impacted the vaping world.

It’s finally here, a brand new addition to the TECC arc family, the arc Impact! With a large 2600mAh battery, variable wattage and push-fit coils, this kit is incredibly easy to use and earns its place in the range. It’s a fantastic MTL kit that can go the distance, and looks very stylish too. So, without further ado let’s take a closer look.
Appearance

The Impact looks very stylish. A polished stainless steel frame surrounding a great looking leatherette panel. The kit is available in three colours: Jet Black, Ocean Mist and Hot Pink. I had the Ocean Mist one and I fell in love with the colour. It’s a very pale, almost white, blue.
Despite the sizeable 2600mAh battery, the kit is incredibly lightweight. Even with the tank attached. I carried it around in my pocket all day and hardly noticed that it was there.
The screen on the mod is extremely simple, only showing wattage, battery capacity and resistance of the coil. This makes the Impact very easy to use, perfect for new vapers.
TECC arc Impact – Performance
For an MTL kit, the TECC arc Impact vapes incredibly well. I used one of the the 1.2ohm coils that comes with the kit, and it gave a very smooth MTL draw. It was certainly tight enough to mimic a cigarette and if you like the draw more, then the airflow is adjustable for further restriction. Since it’s a TECC kit, I chose to try it with the Blue Raspberry Slush Urban Chase. Also, to get a judge of the throat hit I went for a 0.6%. It was very smooth and gave a decent throat hit. I’m sure that MTL vapers on higher nicotine will be satisfied with it.
When using the kit, I found that the battery lasted me around 2 days of use before I needed to recharge it. Thanks to its USB-C quick charge, it recharged rather quickly. Roughly an hour for a full charge.
I didn’t get around to it, but I’m eager to try this kit with the lower resistance coils. I’ve used the 0.8ohm GTL coils with the TECC D20 and loved the draw of them. Considering this is the same tank with a bigger battery, it should be a nice upgrade. Also, with an output of 40W, this kit can certainly handle it.
Another thing that I noticed whilst using the kit was the simplicity of the menu. It has power mode (watts), voltage mode and an option to turn the screen off, which is basically stealth mode.
Ease of Use
This kit is incredibly easy to use, making it an ideal choice for new vapers or anyone who doesn’t like faff.
The tank has push-fit coils and a sliding top-fill, making changing coils and filling on the go super simple.
The mod itself has a very simple screen and menu. Plus it is charged by USB-C quick charge.

Price
The kit costs a reasonable £44.99. That’s great value for money when compared to kits like the Eleaf iStick Power Mono. It’s a little more costly than its predecessor, the arc 5, but for the extra features it’s well worth the extra £5.
The GTL Coils cost £5.49 for a pack of 2 or £12.99 for a pack of 5.
Replacement pods cost £3.49 and replacement tanks cost £11.99.
Target Audience
Out of the box the arc Impact is aimed at MTL vapers, due to its 1.2ohm coils. As an MTL kit, this device is fantastic and does exactly what it needs to do. With an additional purchase of less resistant coils it is opened up to RDL vapers with the 0.8ohm and even low power DL users with the 0.4ohm.
TECC arc Impact Final Verdict
The Impact is a perfect choice for new vapers due to its simplistic menu and easy to use features. It’s a solid choice for a mid range MTL device and the 2600mAh battery is large enough to last. The kit also works great as a RDL kit or even a low power DL kit, with the purchase of additional coils.
