Answering some common disposable pod questions.
Pre filled pod devices are a simple solution to vaping. They’re great for new vapers as they’re extremely easy to use. Pre filled pods also make an ideal disposable alternative as they cost half the price of single use kits and are much better for the environment. Let’s take a look at some pre filled pod FAQs.
Pre filled pod kits use rechargeable batteries that aren’t much bigger than a regular disposable. They have pods that are already filled with e-liquid and pre fitted with a coil. Also, they typically contain 2ml of juice, which is the same as a single use kit.
They’re perfect for new vapers as there’s hardly any maintenance. All that you have to do is charge them and swap the pods when they’re empty.
Pre filled pod kits also make a great back up for existing vapers in situations when they don’t want to use their main kit.
How do you use a pre filled pod kit?
Pre filled pod kits are really easy to use and can be set up in a few simple steps.
- Remove the battery from its packaging and put it on charge. Most of them come with some life already, but it’s best practice to make sure they’re full before use.
- Take the pod out of it’s packaging and remove the rubber bungs or stickers from the mouthpiece and bottom. Also, the pods Elf Bar Mate 500 and ELFA Pro have a freshness seal. Push in the base to allow the liquid to soak into the coil.
- Drop the pod into the battery, with most kits it’ll magnetise into place.
- The kit is now ready to vape using the inhale activated auto draw. If your pod runs out of liquid or you want to change the flavour, simply repeat steps 2 & 3.
How many puffs are in pre filled pods?
Most pre filled pods contain 2m of e-liquid, unless you’re using JUUL. These give up to 600 puffs, depending on use. JUUL pods only have 0.7ml, which is just under 300 puffs and the JUUL2 ones have 1.4ml that’s just under 450.
How do I know when to change the pod?
In most pre filled pods, you can see the liquid levels. But if it starts to taste burnt, that’s a surefire sign that it needs to be replaced. Make sure that you keep some spare pods handy, so you’re not left without a vape.
How long will a disposable pod kit last?
In terms of battery life, most kits will last about a day. They’ll definitely at least go through a pod. The VLTZ flex has a 900mAh battery and will see most vapers through a couple of days and maybe 2 pods worth.
