Small and versatile. An amazing MTL vape.

Joyetech has released a newer version of its ever so popular EVIO C, the Joyetech EVIO C2. The C2 doesn’t bring anything new to the table, apart from some lovely new colours. But, thats’s not a bad thing. The EVIO C is a very popular kit because it’s very versatile. Since we don’t have a review of the EVIO C, it’s a perfect opportunity to talk about it with the EVIO C2.
Appearance

The EVIO C2 is a very compact device. It has a slim profile, meaning that it fits great in a pocket without being too obvious. The new range features a striking dual tone metallic finish, a stark contrast to the matte mono coloured metal of the EVIO C.
The device simply features a single fire button, which houses the LED indicator light. This indicator light changes colour depending on battery capacity. Also, there’s a USB-C charge port on the bottom of the kit.
The airflow for the device if featured on the right hand side of the mod, be careful not to accidentally cover it when you vape.
Joyetech EVIO C2 – Performance
The Joyetech EVIO C2 work brilliantly, just as its predecessor did. I’ve had an EVIO C for about a year or so, which I take out with me whenever my main mod would be too bulky or I don’t want to damage it.
The C2 houses an 800mAh battery, which lasts around 5-6 hours before you need to recharge. With the USB-C quick charge port, it charges in roughly 30 minutes, which is very convenient if you’re as forgetful as I am when it comes to charging your kits.
The coils with the kit are 0.8ohm, which provide quite an airy draw. There are 1.2ohm coils available, if you prefer a more restricted draw. But, these are an additional purchase. If you think they look familiar then you’ve probably seen Uwell Caliburn G coils before. They’re exactly the same size and the two are interchangeable if you’re in a pinch.
The flavour and vapour production of this kit is outstanding, very consistent and a decent amount of vapour for a MTL kit. Also, the kit has adjustable airflow. Changing the airflow is simple as you just need to flip the pod 180 degrees. If I’m being brutally honest, I didn’t notice much of a difference between the MTL setting and RDL setting. The kit also has 2 methods for vaping. You can either press the button or you can simply inhale on the device, as it has auto draw activation as well.
The only issue I found with this kit is the sensitivity of the fire button. If you forget to turn it off and it fires in your pocket there’s a chance the pod will overheat, causing the coil to get stuck. That’s ok though as replacement pods are only £1.99.
Ease of Use
The EVIO C2 is a very easy device to use. 5 clicks turn it on and off and that’s it. The coils are also push fit meaning that they’re very easy to change. The kit also has USB-C charging, meaning that it charges in around 30 minutes. The C2 is a fantastic kit for beginners and works very well as the next step up from disposables too.
If you’re looking at this kit as a cost effective change from disposables then I’d recommend using it with either VLTZ liquid or Bar Juice 5000, as they’re designed to replicate disposable liquid.
Bar Juice e-liquid offers a like for like disposable flavour! This makes it a perfect choice for users looking to find a like for like alternative. Thanks to their nicotine salt base you can enjoy fast craving satisfaction. Explore 41 Bar Juice flavours in a range of 3 strengths!

Price
The kit costs £16.09, exactly the same as the EVIO C. As I’ve already mentioned, the only difference between the two is colour. But I personally love the new two-tone shiny metallic look of the C2. The £16.09 price tag is slightly more expensive than competitors like the Uwell Caliburn G, but I think it looks a lot better.
The coils for the C2 are £11.99 for a pack of 5 and replacement pods cost £1.99.
Target Audience
The EVIO C2 is aimed toward MTL vapers and RDL vapers. The draw is quite airy and is adjustable using the dual airflow system. If you prefer a more restricted draw then 1.2ohm coils can be bought separately.
As I mentioned earlier, the C2 makes a great starter kit for most new vapers and it’s also fantastic as a low cost alternative to disposables.
Joyetech EVIO C2 – Final Verdict
The Joyetech EVIO C2 is a fantastic device. Versatile enough to be suitable for most MTL and RDL vapers but simple enough to be used as a starter kit. This kit works really well as a small and lightweight secondary device too, for vapers that have bulkier mods as their main kit.
