A simple, little kit that vapes really well.

The eGo 510 by Joyetech is an interesting low powered MTL & RDL device. The kit features a disposable tank with a 0.7ohm built in coil. Something that’s unique about this particular kit is that it’s the whole tank that is disposable. Let’s take a closer look at the Joyetech eGo 510.
Appearance

With its vibrant colours, I really like the look of the eGo 510. It’s available in lime green, cyan blue, red, black and white. Also, the disposable pods are sold in matching colours.
In terms of appearance, there’s not much to say about the eGo 510. Its curved edges and smooth finish are very pleasing to the eye. There’s a fire button, turned on and off by 5 clicks. Also, there’s a LED light on the back that shows activation.
The battery is 850mAh, so lasts around 6 hours of use. The USB-C charge port means that the kit only takes around half an hour to recharge.
The mouthpiece is fixed on the tank and is surrounded by a small ring that covers the filling hole.
Joyetech eGo 510 – Performance
The eGo 510 vapes very smoothly. For an MTL and RDL vape, it performs extremely well. It’s very simple to use, with no settings to adjust or coils to change. The draw on the kit is quite airy, which is great for an RDL kit, but if you enjoy a tighter draw then this might not be the kit for you.
The flavour you get from the tank is really good and is consistent through the life of the coil.
The unique thing about this kit is that the pods have a 510 connection. You could even use the disposable pod with a much bigger battery, such as the Eleaf iStick Power Mono. When using the tank on another mod the wattage range is 14-18w.
My only con for this kit is the screw off cap that covers the filling hole. When filling the device you don’t have anywhere to put it whilst you fill. Now if you’re at a desk or have a table nearby, that’s fine. But if you’re on the go I ended up shoving it in my pocket which meant it was constantly getting lost.
Ease of Use
The Joyetech eGo 510 couldn’t be much simpler to use. It has USB-C quick charge, no adjustment and disposable tanks.
The only way this kit could be made easier is if it was auto-draw activated.

Price
The eGo 510 costs £11.99. This is much cheaper than similar kits such as the Uwell Caliburn G.
The pods cost £5.99, and are available in all the colours.
Target Audience
This kit is well and truly an MTL vape, but it’s airy enough to satisfy RDL vapers. If you like a more restricted draw then this kit probably isn’t for you, as there’s no airflow control to make it tighter.
Joyetech eGo 510 – Final Verdict
For what it is, the Joyetech eGo 510 is pretty good. It performs really well as an MTL/RDL vape. Also, it’s simple enough for new vapers to be able to use it. But, the simplicity doesn’t take away from the performance of the device.
