How to change your liquid with a new taste.
One of the best things about vaping is the choice of flavours available. There’s fruity, sweet, menthol and even tobacco, if that’s what you like. Vaping a specific one for too long can sometimes get boring and most users like to mix things up. Let’s take a look at how to swap vape flavours, so you can get the best taste from your e-liquid.
Cleaning out your tank
To properly remove the old flavour from your tank, you’re going to want to clean it out. Simply remove the coil and rinse it under a tap. It’s best to make sure that your dry it afterwards, because the last thing you want is water in your tank.
If you’re frugal, you could also rinse the coil by gently running it under a warm tap and leaving it to completely dry. However, this takes a while and we would advise to replace it with a new one instead.
Changing your coil
This is the easiest thing that you can do when you swap vape flavours. Changing the coil makes sure that none of the old liquid is going to ruin your new one. Just make sure that you prime it by adding a few drops of juice down the centre.
Bar salts
Bar salts are a great alternative to disposables, they’re just as smooth and give the same intense flavours. The problem with them is, because the taste is so strong, they don’t always mix very well. If you’re going to change bar salt flavours, it’s best to swap your coil.
Unfortunately, if you’re using a disposable pod system or device like the Aspire R1, then you can’t change the coil. Try to pick flavours that compliment each other.
Disposables and pre filled pods
If you use disposables, or kits with pre filled pods like the VLTZ flex, Crystal Plus or ELFA Pro, it’s extremely easy to change flavours. All you have to do is swap devices or pods. Pre filled cartridges are much more convenient to carry around than multiple disposables.
