A small MTL device that performs really well.

GeekVape has released another addition to its Wenax range. The GeekVape Wenax H1 is a small disposable pod mod that has a 1000mAh battery and USB-C quick charge. There are a lot of disposable pod mods in the Wenax range so let’s see how it compares.
Appearance

The GeekVape Wenax H1 features a nice matte metal finish. From TECC it’s available in violet, black and silver. For the purposes of testing I got my hands on the lavender version. I must admit, the matte finish of this kit feels great to the touch. Also, the fire button is textured which adds a nice feel when firing the device.
The sides of the kit feature 2 airflow holes and the bottom of the kit is where the USB-C charge port is located. The bottom of the kit is rubberised meaning that it stands up well and is harder to knock over. Great for accident prone people like me.
Also, the pod also gives a satisfying click when being inserted into the pod.
GeekVape Wenax H1 – Performance
The kit comes with two pods. The first is a 0.7ohm pod (16w-19w) and the second is a 1.4ohm pod (8w-10w). I chose to test this device using its 0.7ohm pod, as I prefer an airier draw. I used Totally Wicked’s Red Label Refreshing Love.
Overall the kit vaped really well. It has a satisfying draw to it, which is nice and airy. I did test the 1.4ohm pod very briefly just for comparison, and can confirm that it does provide a much tighter draw. Three clicks of the fire button adjusts the power setting to low, medium and high. I found that medium was sufficient and provided a decent enough vape without tanking the battery.
The H1 has two modes of fire: pressing the fire button or using auto draw. Also, you can still vape the device using auto draw when the it is switched off.
Ease of Use
The GeekVape Wenax H1 is an incredibly easy device to use. No coil change, USB-C quick charge and dual fire modes. You can also adjust the power level very easily, tailoring the vape experience in seconds.
The only major downside to this device is that it doesn’t come with a charge cable, which might be a drawback for new vapers. Aside from this one flaw, this kit is as simple as can be.

Price
The Wenax H1 costs £18.49, which is quite reasonable for a 1000mAh battery device. In comparison to similar devices such as the Vaporesso Osmall 2 or GeekVape Sonder U, it isn’t as cheap. But, at the end of the day you get what you pay for. This kit outperforms both.
The pods cost a modest £8.99 for a pack of 3. Also, don’t forget to pick up a USB-C cable. You can either get a short one for £0.99 or a longer one for £2.99. So, it’s not really that much of an extra cost.
Target Audience
The GeekVape Wenax H1 is designed for MTL vapers. And I must say that it performs brilliantly in this role. It has a choice of 2 pods which can suit either an airy or a tight draw. Also, the easily adjustable settings make the H1 a very versatile kit.
For MTL vapers looking for a relatively small device that gives good flavour, consistency and performance then this is definitely a good choice.
GeekVape Wenax H1 – Final Verdict
Definitely a winner. The only issue I had with this kit is the lack of a charging cable. The device has a decent 1000mAh battery, comes as standard with both types of pod and is extremely easy to use. GeekVape also designed this kit to perform consistently through the life of the battery. And, I didn’t notice any lack of power before the device lost power.
