Which Elf Bar pre filled pod kit is best?
Prefilled pod kits are a great way for disposable vapers to save both money and the environment. Plus, they’re just as easy to use. The only difference is that you recharge the battery and swap out the pods when the liquid runs out. Elf Bar also make Lost Mary devices and they both have a pod system. So lets compare the two in this head to head, it’s the ELFA Pro vs Lost Mary Tappo!
Elf Bar
Elf Bar are a huge name in disposables. It has a huge range of single use kits, pre filled pods and bar salts available.
Disposable vapes are ready to use right out of the box, with a battery that’s already charged and is pre filled with e-liquid. Once the kit dies or the juice runs out, you can simply dispose of it (responsibly) and get a new one. These kits include the Elf Bar 600 V2 and Lost Mary BM600.
Prefilled pod kits are a bit more sustainable because you can recharge the battery using a USB-C cable and refill the kit with new pods once the old ones are empty. This means you don’t have to keep buying new kits every time you run out of liquid. These are what we’re comparing today, the Lost Mary Tappo and Elf Bar ELFA Pro.

Head to head
The ELFA Pro and Lost Mary Tappo are both great pre filled pod kits, but which one is best? Let’s take a look! We’ll compare appearance, performance, flavour selection and cost to crown a winner.
Appearance
The ELFA Pro has a metallic body that features a matte finish. They’re either a nice two colour fade or one block design. Whereas the Tappo is a glossy metal that feels quite a bit weightier. It’s also a square shape, rather than the pen type style of the ELFA. Personally, I think the Lost Mary is the winner here. I think it feels more premium when holding it.
With both kits, it’s not just aesthetics that you’re choosing. Each colour comes with a different flavour pod.

Performance
In terms of performance, the kits work in pretty much the same way. They both have USB-C fast charging, auto draw activation and the pods have a liquid seal that you have to break when you first put them in. The main difference is the size of the battery. ELFA Pros have a 500mAh battery, which is easily large enough to get you through a pod. However, the Tappo has a 750mAh battery, meaning that you might vape 2 before it needs charging. Based on this 50% increase, the Lost Mary Tappo is the winner again.

Flavours
Flavour selection, for now, is where the two kits have a huge difference. ELFA pro pods have a selection of 42 different tastes. Whereas the Tappo has 43. So, based on this, the ELFA is the clear winner. However, it’s not a huge defeat for Lost Mary, as you can use the Pro pods in the Tappo. It’s the same the other way around. This means that between the two, there are 85 flavours to choose from!
ELFA Pro |
Price
This is the only one that has a clear cut winner. The ELFA Pro is £5.99 and the Lost Mary Tappo is £8.99. However, the £3 is because of the difference in materials and battery size. Both kits come with a pod to get you started and extras are £5.99 for a pack of two.

Winner
It’s a draw! That’s not really a surprise, though. Personally, I prefer the Tappo. I love the feel and look of it, plus a bigger battery is never a bad thing. At the end of the day it’s down to personal preference. Some vapers might not like the shape and instead prefer the slim ELFA. Whatever kit you go for, you’ll be getting a great device that’s just as easy to use as disposables but at half the cost.
Bar Salts
Elf Bar also makes bar salt versions of its most popular flavours. These are 10ml bottles that contain the same liquid found in the disposables and pods. The brilliant thing about them is that you can vape them in pretty much any kit. Also, each one has the same amount of juice as 5 disposables. But, they cost less than one!
ElfLiq is available in 2.0%, 1.0% and 0.5% which is perfect if you’re looking to cut down your nicotine levels. MaryLiq is available in 1.0% and 2.0%.
