Accessorise, accessorise, accessorise.
Is it all about jewellery now? Before you know it we’re going to see an Elf Bar Mineral range. Crystal Bar by SKE Vapes and Diamond Bar by Vapes Bars are growing in popularity. Since they’re both a bit bling, and very similar vapes, I’ve decided to do a bit of a vs review. So, let’s begin this review. It’s Crystal Bar vs Diamond Bar!
Appearance
Both of these devices look pretty much identical. A plastic case that shows a metallic finish. The Crystal bar features a clear plastic with a coloured wrap inside. The Diamond bar has a coloured plastic with silver on the inside.
Both of these disposables look pretty glam and definitely stand out when placed side by side with and Elf Bar or Geek Bar.
Out of the two I prefer the coloured plastic of the Diamond bar. To me, the Crystal bar looks more like a lipstick than a vape. So while Diamond bar won this one, it was a photo finish.
Winner: Diamond Bar
Performance. Crystal Bar vs Diamond Bar.
In terms of vape quality and draw the two are pretty much identical. Both devices last around 600 puffs and are consistent in flavour. The two kits also house 2% nic salt liquid. The actual flavours themselves are where the difference lies, with Diamond bars being the clear cut winner (see what I did there?).
The Crystal bars tasted very perfumey, and whilst this definitely fits the aesthetic, it’s not something that I find all too appealing in a vape. I tried the Gummy Bear and Blueberry Sour Raspberry flavours. They would have been nice if not for the fragrant aftertaste. I don’t know what flavour is being used but it ruined the experience.
The Diamond bar was pretty good, a very strong contender for the other popular disposables on the market. For a closer comparison I tried the Blue Razz Sapphire (Blueberry Sour Raspberry) and, since there’s no Gummy Bear, I chose Red Ruby (Cherry Ice). The flavours of the Diamond bar were much better and didn’t carry the aftertaste that the Crystal bars did.
So, Diamond bar is the winner again, this time by a much bigger lead.
Winner: Diamond Bar
Ease of Use
So there’s no clear winner in this category. Being disposables, both of these devices are extremely simple to use. All you have to do is take them out of the packaging, remove the rubber bungs and vape away. When the liquid is used (it’ll taste burnt) or the battery dies simply dispose of the device. Now, since all disposables contain a battery we recommend that you dispose of them responsibly at a battery disposal site.
Winner: Neither, it’s a draw!
Price. Crystal Bar vs Diamond Bar
Both bars are available for £4.99 each. But, you can get them for as low as £3.80 with our multi-buys!
Winner:Neither, it’s a draw!
Target Audience
Both devices are aimed at vapers who are either new to vaping or want a simple solution to vaping. They are both MTL kits that are very similar to other devices on the market. Again, there’s no clear winner here.
Winner: Neither, it’s a draw!
Final Verdict. Crystal Bar vs Diamond Bar
They both look similar, they both vape similar. But, based on the flavours of the liquid the clear winner is the Diamond Bar!
The Diamond bar is a 600 puff, 2% disposable with solid flavours and a consistency from start to finish.
Sadly the loser in this conflict is the SKE Crystal Bar.
It also has 2% and 600 puffs. The flavours are still great, just not as good as the Diamond Bar.
