VOOPOO has revealed yet another new entry into its popular ARGUS range. The VOOPOO ARGUS P1 is an amazing little pod mod that aims for simplicity above all else. It has a reasonable 800mAh battery but boasts a recharge time of only 18 minutes to fully charge! It’s auto-draw activated and features an adjustable airflow. Let’s take a closer look at this great new kit by VOOPOO.
Appearance
The ARGUS P1 look absolutely gorgeous. A matte metal body that also features a transparent window on one side. Through this window you can actually see the chipset inside the device. Also, there’s a small bar at the top that reminds me of a heat sink, and is perfect for attaching the lanyard to. Yes, that’s right. The kit comes with a lanyard in the box.
There’s a polished metallic ARGUS logo on the face of the kit, which looks very stylish. On the side of the device is the adjustable airflow and the USB-C charge port.
This whole mod looks very futuristic and I really like it. Even the battery indicator looks very smart. As you inhale the battery indicators, that are inside the window, light up one by one to show your current battery level. Also, it adds to the futuristic aesthetic of the device and really finishes off the look.
VOOPOO ARGUS P1 – Performance
In the box you get both resistances of pod, which is great for vapers who are unsure of which they’d prefer. There’s a 0.7ohm pod, which is the one I used, and also a 1.2ohm pod. To be thorough, I gave the 1.2ohm pod a go and found it to be a tighter draw which is great if that’s what you like. Not for me though, I prefer an airier draw.
I’ve vaped the ARGUS Pod Kit before, so I knew that the pod were going to be good. The rubber bung that covers the fill hole seems a little flimsy on these pods. But, they’re disposable pods so that’s not really a problem. The vapour produced by the P1 is satisfying and the taste comes through really well. My liquid of choice to test this was Bar Juice 5000 Unicorn Shake. I didn’t really play around with the adjustable airflow when using the 0.7ohm pod. But, if you close it on the 1.2ohm pod you get a very tight draw, which I know some MTL vapers appreciate. While using the device, I loved the battery indicator lights.
I also greatly appreciated the lanyard provided with the kit. I constantly misplace my vape, having around my neck was a huge advantage.
Ease of Use
It literally couldn’t get any easier. Disposable pods mean no coil changes. The USB-C fast charge capability makes recharging it incredibly fast. Also, there’s no buttons to press or mess around with.
This kit was designed with style and simplicity in mind.

The ARGUS P1 costs £25.99, which is amazing for what you get.
The pods are available for £7.39 for a pack of three.
The coils cost £12.99 for a pack of 5 and are available in a range of resistances.
Target Audience
The P1 is designed as a MTL kit. With the 0.7ohm pods you can get a RDL draw and with the 1.2ohm pods you get a nice MTL draw. The battery life is enough to last most MTL vapers all day and recharges insanely fast. A 5 minute charge with a quick-charge plug will give you 2 hours of vaping.

VOOPOO just keep knocking it out of the park. The VOOPOO ARGUS P1 is an outstanding device that is simple to use, looks fantastic and performs really well. I haven’t been disappointed by a new VOOPOO product yet. The P1 does exactly what it needs to, with no fuss.
