Why Choose Refillable Pods over Vape Tanks?
One of the main reasons vapers choose to use a refillable pod tank over a vape tank is the easier setup. With most pods, the compatible coils are either push fit for simple and mess free installations, or they come built in to the pod and need no installation. Here are some of the refillable pods with built-in coils available on our online vape store which use built-in coils.
Vaporesso XROS Series Pods
Designed for use with many of the popular Vaporesso devices such as the XROS 4 and the XROS Pro these pods come in packs of four with built-in coils. The Vaporesso XROS Series Pods are available in 0.4ohm, 0.6ohm, 0.8ohm and 1.0ohm resistance coil. The 0.6 ohm pod works well with a bar salt e-liquid while the 1.0 ohm coil works best with a nic salt e-liquid. You can find the filling port by snapping off the black drip tip.
SMOK Novo 5 Pods
The SMOK Novo pods come in packs of 3 and can cater to both MTL and RDL vapers. The Novo 5 pods feature a built-in 0.7ohm mesh coil that works best with 50/50 or nic salt e-liquid. Each pod holds up to 2ml of e-liquid and can be refilled multiple times before needing to be replaced. To fill the pod, simply remove the top cap and insert the liquid through the filling port.
Refillable Pod Tanks from Top Brands
VOOPOO
One of the most popular pod tanks on the market is the VOOPOO Argus Top Fill Pods. Using ITO coils in a wide range of resistances, it is not only easy to use but caters to many vapers' needs. It is also compatible with many VOOPOO devices such as the Argus A and Argus G and uses a strong magnetic connection to easily remove the pod to fill it with e-liquid or swap out the coils. Plus, the coils are push-fit for ease of use.
For vapers who don’t use VOOPOO mods, the ITO Pods use a built-in 1.0ohm coil and are designed for MTL vaping. They are also compatible with both the Doric 60 Pro and Doric Q devices. There are no messy coil changes required, making this pod easy to set up. Plus the side filling port allows for quick e-liquid top-ups. Once the coil inside burns out, just replace the pod with a new one. When using bar salt e-liquid this pod provides a similar flavour to the leading disposables.
Eleaf
The Eleaf IORE Pods come in a pack of two and are available in two resistances which are both designed for mouth to lung vaping. Designed to be used with the IORE Prime Kit, they clip easily to the top of the device and have built-in coils meaning no messy replacements are needed. Choose from 0.8ohm and 1.2ohm resistances.
Both resistances are made with mesh which is designed to heat up more liquid at a quicker rate. This enhances both the flavour and vapour production. The 0.8ohm resistance works best with 50/50 e-liquid as it gives a fair balance of flavour, vapour and throat hit. Whereas, the 1.2ohm resistance pairs perfectly with nic salt as it provides a smooth draw with a sharp hit. Plus, the flavour is strong but not too harsh, even at higher strengths.
