Sub-Ohm Vape Coils

Sub-ohm vape coils are ideal for producing large clouds of vapour and intense flavour. Any coil under 1.0ohm resistance is known as sub-ohm and is best suited for use with high-powered vape tanks and e cig mods. Choose from the biggest brands around, such as Aspire, SMOK, VOOPOO, Innokin, GeekVape and more. Some sub-ohm coils are available in mesh, which has a larger surface area to produce bigger clouds and even better flavour.

Sub-Ohm Vape Coils

Here you can find a wide range of sub-ohm vape coils. Ideal for any vaper who wants to enjoy large clouds of vapour, sub-ohm coils are available in various resistances to help you find the best vape to suit your personal style.

What are Sub Ohm Coils?

Any coil with a resistance below 1.0ohm is considered sub ohm. If a coil exceeds this it is considered to be a ‘regular’ coil.

One of the benefits of using these coils is that they can absorb more e-liquid. This is due to the larger wicking areas which allow thick vape juice to be drawn in. Thick e-liquid has a high VG content; an ingredient which creates the large clouds of vapour when heated. Vapers looking to produce bigger clouds of vapour should use high VG e liquid with low resistance sub ohm coils to deliver the best results. High VG e liquid also isn’t as harsh as other vape juice, so the experience is smoother when used with sub ohm coils.

These coils need a higher output wattage to perform. On the side of each coil should be a recommended wattage range. This tells you the power setting the coil performs best at. If the power is too high then it will probably burn, but if it is too low it will struggle to heat up the e-liquid to produce the vapour. This can result in leaks due to the liquid passing right through the coil that has not been properly vapourised.

Sub-ohm Coils From Top Brands

SMOK Sub Ohm Coils

SMOK has a range of sub-ohm coils available and are made to deliver the best vaping experience. The TA coils are used with the T-Air Subtank which come in 0.15ohm, 0.2ohm and 0.4ohm resistances; great for direct lung vaping with most e-liquid. The RPM Coils are designed for use in many of the SMOK pod kits such as the popular Nord range and come in 0.4ohm, 0.6ohm and 0.8ohm options.

VOOPOO Sub Ohm Coils

Although the brand has a big selection of devices, it keeps its coil ranges simple. The VOOPOO PnP coils come in a wide range of resistances to suit both mouth to lung and direct lung vapers, and are compatible with many VOOPOO kits including the DRAG X. The sub ohm resistances are good for DL vapers as they have large wicking areas ideal for vaping with high VG e-liquid, and the PnP tank that uses these coils has a fully adjustable airflow. This allows vapers to change the airflow and select the coil resistance to give the perfect vape.

The TPP coils are made for cloud chasing and come in low resistances with large wicking holes. This means they can absorb thicker e-liquid to produce huge clouds of vapour. Compatible with the TPP and TPP X tank, these coils come with many of the popular VOOPOO kits such as the DRAG 3.
