How Do I Choose The Right E-liquid?

What If I Still Crave Cigarettes While Vaping?
It is not uncommon to get cravings for cigarettes during the first few weeks of vaping. If you feel that your cravings are not going away however, then you should perhaps consider raising the nicotine strength of your e-liquid in order to keep those moments of weakness at bay.
Vaping can require a degree of willpower, but once you are used to using an e-cigarette and find the correct strength of e-liquid, your chances of vaping success are greatly increased.
I’ve Bought My Starter Kit, What Next?
Once you have decided on the right e-cig and e-liquid for you, you’re now ready to begin your vaping journey and quit smoking for the New Year! You will need to set up your e-cigarette before you can use it, so we have outlined a checklist to help get you set up and ready to vape.
1. Charge Your Battery
Before using your new e-cig, charge it up using the USB charging cable provided either in your PC or by using one of our wall adaptors available on the website.
2. Prime The Coil
The tank or pod which contains your e-liquid also houses a coil inside. Within this is a cotton material which absorbs and pulls through your e-liquid to create vapour. When coils are new, this cotton is dry, so you must ‘prime’ it by filling your tank or pod with e-liquid and leaving it to soak in to the cotton for roughly 10-15 minutes prior to usage.
If you fail to do this, you risk burning out your coil the moment you press the button to take a vape, which can produce an acrid burnt taste.
3. Turn On Your E-cig
When the battery is charged, and your coil is primed with a tank full of e-liquid, you are ready to begin vaping. Most e-cigs can be turned on by pressing the power button 5 times rapidly, until either the screen or button lights up (varies from model to model).
Once you have turned on your e-cig, simply press and hold the power button to produce vapour. Some electronic cigarettes feature an automatic activation and as such have no button to press. Simply inhale through the mouthpiece of these devices in order to create vapour.
I’ve Started Vaping, What Now?
By choosing to vape rather than continuing to smoke means that you have taken a big step on your journey.
If you have successfully made the switch over to vaping, then your 2020 New Year’s resolution has got off to a great start, well done! If you have not been able to quit smoking entirely, don’t let that get you down. If you vape more than you smoke then you are doing well so keep going. You should try to set a date where you will quit smoking entirely and try to stick to it.
If you want to use e-cigs for a while and then become smoking and vaping free, then look towards cutting down your nicotine strength until you eventually reach zero, then aim towards this at your own pace and try not to rush anything until you are ready.
