\"Vape<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

A Vape Inquiry launched by the All Party Parliamentary Group for Responsible Vaping will explore the state of vaping in the UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evidence gathered from experts will help to inform the Government about key vape related issues ahead of the Tobacco and Vape Bill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The investigation will assess how the potential disposable ban, flavour restrictions, and other proposed laws will affect the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will also gather evidence on how vaping currently affects the economy, environment, and public health. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All findings will be presented in a report and feature analysis of the government’s proposed measures, including the introduction of a vape tax in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The findings will play a key role in identifying and encouraging industry-led improvement. The APPG seek to understand best practices to help adults quit smoking and address key issues such as underage vaping, waste, and the black market. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tobacco and Vapes Bill Announcement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Tobacco and Vapes Bill has been announced by the Government and sets to create a smoke free generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bill includes measures such as phasing out the sale of tobacco to anyone aged 15 or younger, restrict vape flavours, as well as packaging and marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bill is yet to be put forward in parliament and will need to be discussed before a vote takes place. Once a vote is completed the law will then need to be to consulted further before implemented. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chair of the APPG for Responsible Vaping, Mary Glindon MP stated: <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe APPG for Responsible Vaping has acted as a focal point for vaping issues within Parliament and I am delighted that the group has been reconstituted with cross-party support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI would encourage everyone with an interest in vaping to respond to the call for evidence that the APPG is launching today on the role of vaping and the government\u2019s proposed regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI look forward to seeing the inquiry findings, particularly in encouraging industry-led improvement and putting forward practical and legislative suggestions ahead of the upcoming Tobacco and Vapes Bill.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Group for Responsible Vaping was founded under the conservative party to act as a focal voice for vaping issues. Its parliamentary members aim to provide a clear focus on vape related issues. As well as demonstrate the benefits of vaping as a cessation tool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
