How to set up a prefilled pod kit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This is by far the easiest to use. The pods are already filled with liquid and you simply insert them into the battery. Once it’s empty, simply throw the cartridge into the bin and replace it with a new one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remove the pod from the packaging and take off any stickers or rubber bungs. With Elf Bar Mate 500 and ELFA Pro cartridges, you need to push the bottom in. This breaks the seal and allows the liquid to soak into the coil.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Disposable pod kits are open tank. This means that you can refill them with whatever e-liquid you like. Remember that high VG liquid needs to go in a less than 1 ohm resistance. The coils are built-in, so that means no messy changing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, it’s time to fill the pod. Different ones have different methods to add your liquid. Usually, there’s a rubber bung or snap off top to reveal the filling hole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first time you add juice to a pod, wait 5-10 minutes for the liquid to soak into the coil. Also, leaving a small air bubble helps to stop it from flooding.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Step 3<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Put the pod in the battery, it’ll either snap into place with magnets or be push fit. Now you’re all set to vape!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the pod starts to taste burnt, it needs to be changed. All you have to do is throw out the old one and repeat these steps.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

How to set up a pod kit with a coil<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pods with removable coils are the trickiest to change but are the most cost effective. Also, they’re often available in a wider range of resistances, making them more versatile. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the coil has been removed from the packaging (or device if it’s new), set it on a flat surface. To stop any mess, you can also place it on a tissue or cloth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add a few drops of liquid down the centre hole. This soaks the coil and prevents it from burning straight away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, push the coil into the pod. Some coils will only go in a certain way, so check fro flat edges and make sure that they line up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, you can fill the pod, like with disposable ones, it’s best to leave an air bubble to stop it flooding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you’ve inserted the pod back into the kit, it’s fine to vape. Again, once it starts tasting a bit off, it’s time to change your coil. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
