The original IORE was a very popular device. It brought an affordable and extremely simple option to new vapers. It is small, lightweight and tailored to closely replicate the draw of a cigarette. The LITE 2 holds true to its namesake and expands upon the basics of its predecessor. In this Eleaf IORE LITE 2 review we’ll take a closer look at this new device and see how it stands up to the first version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The look of this kit is very sleek and simple. There are four different choices including white, black, pastel pink and a pastel blue. The rounded edges of the battery make it very comfortable to hold and the size fits nicely in the hand. It’s a bit bigger than the IORE LITE, but that’s because it has a larger battery size.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The face of the device features the name of the kit and a battery indicator light. The back of the mod simply says ‘Eleaf’ and the bottom of the device features the USB-C charge port.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The pod itself magnetises into the battery with pretty strong magnets. Again, this pod is slightly bigger than the pods of the original. But, this isn’t a bad thing as the capacity is now 2ml.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eleaf IORE LITE 2 – Performance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For a budget device, this kit performs brilliantly. There’s no settings to play around with or airflow to adjust. It’s as simple as fill the pod, put it in the battery and go. After waiting 5 minutes on a new pod, of course. Letting the built in coil soak for at least 5-15 minutes is a very important step, as there is only one pod included in the kit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The resistance of the disposable pod is 1.0ohm, which is perfect for 50\/50 liquid and nic salt. I chose to try the IORE LITE 2 with TECC Titus<\/a> Mister White. Filling the pod is simple, there’s a rubber bung on the side that reveals the hole. The new 2ml capacity is a great improvement over the 1.6ml of the LITE. The pod slips into the device extremely easily and can be placed in either way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I took my first draw I noticed that it’s a tighter draw than I prefer, but would be great for an MTL vaper. It’s a little airier than the LITE, but I think that it makes it usable by a wider audience. The kit is very simple to use as there aren’t any buttons to press and it fires from auto-draw. This firing method is really responsive and it activates as soon as you inhale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 490mAh battery is enough to last light vapers all day, but heavier ones may need to recharge when using this kit. One of the biggest downsides to this kit is that it doesn’t come with a charging cable. Although, a lot of homes have a USB-C cables but if not then they can be picked up for as little as \u00a30.99.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of ease of use, this kit couldn’t be much simpler. It has no buttons, easy fill disposable pods and USB-C quick charge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The only maintenance the device requires is to fill it when it’s empty, change the pods when it burns and charge it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The IORE LITE 2 costs a very reasonable \u00a39.99 and it includes the kit and a single pod.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Target Audience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The IORE LITE 2 is pretty much aimed at new vapers. The simplicity of use and compact nature of the kit is an ideal starting point for quitting cigarettes. Although, if you’re a heavy smoker then the lower battery capacity of this kit might not suit your needs. This kit would also make a great secondary device for most MTL vapers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
