They&#8217;re great devices for MTL and RDL. The newest iteration is called the Tenet and it really is a sight to behold. The kit uses the same coils as the Caliburn G, but features a larger 750mAh battery and improved G2 pod. But I always get excited for new products. I ripped off the packaging and scrambled to open the hard plastic case. All I could say was &#8220;wow&#8221;. This kit looks phenomenal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The kit is a moulded metal case that looks like it came straight out of a steampunk novel. It features rivets and screws that really compliment the aesthetic. Also, the metal looks tarnished, like it&#8217;s some long forgotten piece of technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There&#8217;s a fire button on the face along with an LED indicator light and a USB-C charge port on the bottom, that&#8217;s all. There&#8217;s no screen to fiddle with, which is a plus for new vapers. Also, there&#8217;s a handy widow at the top of the mod that helps you see how much liquid you have left.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Uwell Caliburn Tenet Review &#8211; Performance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This kit performs just as well as the Caliburn G, but has some nice quality of life features that make it a logical upgrade. Firstly, the battery has had an upgrade and is now 750mAh instead of 690mAh. A small jump, but noticeable. The next major change is to the pods, which still have the snap off top filling method, but now have an airflow control wheel. This allows for draw restriction without using an external switch. This is perfect because once you&#8217;ve set the airflow then it won&#8217;t accidentally change in your pocket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tenet comes fitted with a 0.8ohm coil and a 1.2ohm coil in the box. I started with the 1.2ohm coil, because I wanted to try both and I knew I&#8217;d end up switching to the 0.8ohm to vape it properly. I used <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theelectroniccigarette.co.uk\/vltz-e-liquid\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">VLTZ e-liquid<\/a> Watermelon Ice in a 1.6%. As I&#8217;ve vaped the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theelectroniccigarette.co.uk\/uwell-caliburn-g-un2-coils-x-4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Caliburn G UN2 coils<\/a> before, I already knew the flavour was going to be great.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the 1.2ohm coil the draw was a very decent MTL vape, which can be restricted more by turning the control wheel. After vaping through a full pod of liquid I was satisfied that it was a very good MTL vape, but now it was time to try RDL. I switched to the 0.8ohm coil, filled it up and gave it a good charge. In around half an hour it was fully charged and ready to go. The RDL experience from this kit was fantastic. The draw was quite airy, I even found myself restricting the airflow slightly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I found myself mainly vaping the Tenet with the fire button, though it can also be vaped using the auto-draw function. You can even lock the fire button using 2 clicks and it will still fire with auto-draw. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ease of Use<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>This kit is very simple to use and is a very versatile device. There are no settings to adjust, it has a snap off cap top filling method and the coils are push fit. There are two firing methods, button press and auto-draw. Also, the kit charges quickly with the USB-C charging cable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re stuck for finding coils, the kit will also work with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theelectroniccigarette.co.uk\/joyetech-en-coils-x-5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Joyetech EN coils<\/a>, which are identical to the Caliburn ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although it might not look like a beginner kit, it&#8217;s simple enough to make an excellent starter device. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/www.theelectroniccigarette.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/uwell-caliburn-tenet-pods.jpg\" alt=\"uwell caliburn tenet pods\" class=\"wp-image-18605\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.theelectroniccigarette.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/uwell-caliburn-tenet-pods.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.theelectroniccigarette.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/uwell-caliburn-tenet-pods-360x360.jpg 360w, https:\/\/www.theelectroniccigarette.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/uwell-caliburn-tenet-pods-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.theelectroniccigarette.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/uwell-caliburn-tenet-pods-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.theelectroniccigarette.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/uwell-caliburn-tenet-pods-75x75.jpg 75w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Price<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tenet will be available for \u00a329.99, that&#8217;s \u00a38 more expensive than the Caliburn G. But, for the looks alone I&#8217;d certainly say it&#8217;s worth it. There&#8217;s also a bigger battery and the new pods, which also add to the value of the kit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Caliburn G2 pods cost \u00a34.49 if you somehow manage to break it or loose the cap, like I&#8217;m sure I will at some point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The UN2 coils are available for \u00a38.99 for a pack of 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center button\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theelectroniccigarette.co.uk\/vape-kits\/brands\/uwell\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shop now for the uwell caliburn tenet<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Target Audience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Uwell Caliburn Tenet is aimed at MTL and RDL vapers. In this regard it works perfectly. MTL vapers will appreciate the 1.2ohm coil and even the airflow adjustment. RDL vapers will love the 0.8ohm coil, as it provides a nice and airy vape. It&#8217;s nice and simple to use and maintain, making it a fantastic starter kit. And we know from experience that the Joyetech EN coils work fantastically with bar salt liquids. So, it makes a very nice kit to come off disposables. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Uwell Caliburn Tenet \u2013 Final Thoughts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I only found one flaw with this device, and it&#8217;s entirely a personal opinion. The only issue was that I don&#8217;t like snap off cap filling methods, as I&#8217;m super clumsy and constantly drop them. I would have much preferred a sliding top fill like the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theelectroniccigarette.co.uk\/joyetech-evio-pod-kit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Joyetech EVIO Pod Kit<\/a> has. Other than that tiny detail I loved the Tenet. It&#8217;s a truly fantastic kit and I&#8217;m happily going to use it along side my main device.
