Innokin<\/a> has revealed a brand new edition to its Endura range, and it’s the Apex of the family. With an 1800mAh battery and the iconic Prism S<\/a> coils, this kit is a much needed upgrade to the line up. The kit also features USB-C type charging and adjustable airflow. Let’s take a closer look at the Innokin Endura Apex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For vapers who are familiar with the Endura range, the Apex doesn’t look all that different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s a little chunkier than the T18 range due to the bigger battery size. It’s more like the T20-S in size.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The device features a subtle matte metal finish. Innokin sent us the black version and I’ve seen the blue version. The matte finish is comfortable to hold and looks very stylish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The charge port for the kit is located at the bottom of the device and is USB-C quick charge, which is always a plus.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The tank also features adjustable airflow, a top filling method and push-fit coils. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Innokin Endura Apex – Performance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This kit performs really well, but that’s nothing new for Innokin. The Endura range has always been popular amongst new vapers due to its low price and reliability. When I was working in store, I saw a lot of vapers using the T18E and heard nothing but praise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unlike most other devices, Innokin kits turn on and off with three clicks of the fire button. That took some getting used to. The battery indicator light is handy, as it changes colour to let you know how charged the device is. The battery also features a twistable switch at the bottom. This ring changes the power settings between low and high, which are shown with an LED light. Red for low and green for high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The coils that come with the kit are 0.9ohm and 0.8ohm. There’s not much difference between the two and they’re both quite airy. Even with the adjustable airflow. For users that prefer a tighter draw, or new vapers looking to emulate smoking, there are 1.5ohm coils<\/a> available as an additional purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a starter kit, this would be ideal. The 1800mAh battery lasts a decent amount of time, with it easily lasting a day. You could even get a solid two days out of it, if you switch to the 1.5ohm coils.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ease of Use<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Apex is a very simple kit to use. The coils for the kit are push fit and just require you to unscrew the bottom of the tank to access. The filling method is a screw-off top, which makes filling on the go really easy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The USB-C charge means that topping up the battery is quick and easy, there’s also the advantage that USB-C charging ports are harder to break. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Price<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Endura Apex hasn’t been released, so no price as of yet. But as always, TECC.co.uk<\/a> offer the best deals on new vape kits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The coils<\/a> are available for \u00a36.99 for a pack of 5, which is incredible value for money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Target Audience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Apex is designed as an MTL kit and, with the sub-ohm coils, can just about work as an RDL kit. For MTL vapers, this kit works really well and dues to its simplicity it would make a fantastic starter kit for new vapers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Innokin Endura Apex Final Verdict<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I really liked this device. It’s not my kind of kit in any way, shape or form. But looking at the device objectively, it’s simple and does exactly what it needs to do. It has easy to use functionality and has a pretty decent battery for a pen type.
