Vapes, especially bigger mods, aren’t always the most rugged devices. When dropped, your tank can crack or screen can break. Also, when out and about you could run out of battery. Some kits, however, are designed to be more durable and there are other vaping options available. So, without further a do, let’s have a look at the best vapes to use outdoors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Best Vapes To Use Outdoors – Disposables<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The first option would be to leave your kit at home and take some disposables<\/a> out with you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disposables offer a very simple solution to vaping on the go. They are usable straight out of the box and when they’re finished, you can pocket them and dispose of them later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, if you happen to break your disposable in some way, then it doesn’t matter as much because they’re relatively cheap. Most of the disposables available have a multi-buy of 3 for \u00a312 and 5 for \u00a319. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The only issue with disposables is the nicotine strength. Most disposables are 2%, with some available in 1% or 0%. If you’re used to vaping a lower strength then they might be a bit much. I find it easier to treat them like a cigarette rather than a vape. I have a few puffs then put it away, rather than puffing on it all day like my main mod.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Breakable Glass<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When you’re out and about, one of the worst things that can happen is for you to break the glass on your tank. There are only realistically three things that you can do to stop this. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first is to use a rubber band to wrap around your tank, this helps absorb some of the shock in the hopes that it’ll protect your glass. The second is to use a tank that has some extra casing around the glass, like the Innokin Zenith II tank which is available on the Innokin Coolfire Z80 kit. Lastly you can carry around spare glass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, there is another solution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pod kits<\/a> like the SMOK nord 5<\/a> or the VOOPOO DRAG H80S have plastic pods instead of a traditional glass tank. These are much more durable than glass, and are much less likely to break.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are two types of pod kit. Ones that have disposable pods like the Joyetech WideWick<\/a>. And ones that have replaceable coils like the Eleaf iSOLO AIR 2.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Larger Battery Life<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When you’re off out exploring, another tragedy that can occur is for you to run out of battery. This doesn’t just apply to your e-cig, but all of your electronics. One solution is to carry around a power bank around with you. But, you can just use a kit with a naturally bigger battery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kits like the Eleaf iStick Power 2<\/a> boast huge internal batteries and maximise the amount of life you get out of your kit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, kits like the SMOK MAG-18, Vaporesso GEN 200 and Eleaf iStick Pico Le feature removable batteries. The benefit of removable batteries is that you can carry around spares, which allow you to swap your batteries on the go. Using an external battery charger like the Golisi S2 or Golisi S4 can make external battery charging much simpler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All devices carry an IP rating. The first number references the dust-proof rating and ranges 1 to 6. The second digit refers to the waterproof rating and ranges 1 to 9. The most common IP rating advertised by rugged e-cigs is IP67 or IP68.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An IP68 rated device is dust, shock and water resistant. These kits are designed to be rugged and include kits like the VOOPOO ARGUS GTII and the Innokin Adept<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
