GeekVape<\/a> has released another addition to its Aegis range. The GeekVape T200 Aegis Touch is a dual 18650 mod that can reach a whopping 200watts. It looks very similar to the other members of the Aegis family such as the L200 and the Solo 2, with one distinct difference. The T in T200 stands for ‘touch’ and the mod features a large 2.4 inch touch screen. Let’s take a closer look at the GeekVape T200 Aegis Touch, shall we?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Touch is a very smart looking mod. It shares its look with the Aegis L200 and Solo 2. It features a polished metal finish and a leatherette pad on the back of the mod. This pad makes the device very comfortable to hold. Also, the panel looks very sleek. I wasn’t a fan of the camo pattern that’s found on the rainbow model though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The side of the device features a lock switch, again similar to the L200. This switch locks all functionality of the buttons and screen. Meaning that you can slip it into your pocket without turning it off completely. The other side of the kit simply features the fire button and USB-C charge port.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Now onto the main event: the touch screen! The screen, when turned on, is vibrant and colourful. Also, you can change both the theme of the display and the wallpaper in the background. The only disappointing aspect about the customisable screen is that you can’t add your own themes and wallpapers. That would have been a really cool feature. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One thing to bear in mind though, if you’re accident prone then you’ll need to be careful with the T200. While the Touch holds the Aegis name, and has some rubber protective padding, it’s not going to be anywhere near as rugged as the rest of the Aegis range.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

GeekVape Aegis T200 Touch – Performance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I won’t drone on too much about the Zeus tank as we’ve talked about it before in the L200 review<\/a> and Aegis Mini 2 review<\/a>. The tank produces large amounts of vapour, especially with lower resistance coils. The flavour of the coils is wonderful, and very consistent thanks to the mesh. The kit comes with a 0.15ohm (70-85w) fitted and a 0.4ohm (50-60w) as a spare in the box. The coil can be a little difficult to remove, but there’s a handy tool in the box to help. The tank also has an adjustable airflow at the top, which helps minimise leakage. I used the 0.4ohm coil at 50watts and chose the Zeus Juice Death By Bunny e-liquid. It seemed fitting to put Zeus Juice in a Zeus tank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mod itself performs really well. I honestly thought that a big flashy touch screen would really compromise the battery life. But, I was pleasantly surprised! I got a similar amount of battery life off a full charge as my ARGUS GT 2. The touch screen is very responsive and the swipe gestures for each menu work brilliantly. Don’t expect the responsiveness of a smart phone, but for an e-cig I was very impressed. The only time that the responsiveness drops is when you go to change the wattage, scrolling through the numbers does cause a bit of lag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Swiping the screen along the bottom will unlock the touch screen. Swiping up, when it’s unlocked, will bring you to your menu. Here you can change the settings and features. The firing modes are quite extensive and include: power mode, smart mode and also temp control modes. I generally stick to smart mode on devices that include it. It stops me from accidentally firing the coil too high and burning them out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ease of Use<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Considering the fact that the mod is adjusted only using the touch screen, it’s very easy to use. The swiping is responsive and very fluid. Also, the mod has USB-C fast charge to top up your battery. Of course, we always recommend charging removable batteries using an external battery charger<\/a>. It’s very easy to get used to and I’d grasped the controls within a few hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tank also has push fit coils and an easy twist-off top fill. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Price<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The GeekVape T200 Aegis Touch is very reasonably priced at \u00a364.49. Considering it has a pretty advanced touch screen and the latest 2021 Zeus tank, I thought it would be a lot more expensive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The kit requires 2x 18650, which are available at \u00a38.99 for a 2600mAh<\/a> or \u00a310.99 for a 3000mAh<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Z coils<\/a> are available at \u00a310.49 for a pack of 5, which again is pretty reasonable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Target Audience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This kit is aimed exclusively at DL vapers. The coils range from around 50w up to 85w, depending on which coils you’re using. Now while 85watts isn’t as high as some DL vapers might like, it still kicks out plenty of cloud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GeekVape T200 Aegis Touch – Final Verdict<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This kit actually surprised me. In the past I’ve played around with touch screen e-cigs and they were just awful. This kit not only reacts well but it vapes even better. The touch screen and display really enhance your vaping experience. It looks very sleek and stylish and feels very comfortable to hold.
