The OXVA XLIM SE is here! It’s a great kit for those who appreciate simplicity in their vape. It has two different pods available with a 0.8 and 0.6 ohm coil. Making this kit a fantastic choice for MTL or RDL vapers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s take a closer look at this simple and elegant looking kit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Appearance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This kit looks sleek and elegant. Available in four colours: black, galaxy, gold pink and space grey, you could say that this kit looks out of this world. The three coloured devices feature a matte metallic finish, with a two colour fade. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lacking the screen and fire button of its predecessor, the OXVA XLIM, the newer version focuses on simplicity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The OXVA XLIM SE also features a USB-C charging port at the bottom, and an airflow control on the side.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Performance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The OVLA XLIM SE has two pods available, the 0.6 and 0.8 ohm coils. The 0.8 ohm pod fires at around 12-16 watts, while the 0.6 ohm pod fires at around 20-25 watts. I found that both pods gave a satisfying amount of vapour. I preferred the 0.6 ohm coil, as my main device is a DL kit. Both of these pods work best with a 50\/50 liquid or thinner. I chose to try this kit with Double Drip<\/a> mango raspberry ice cream. The coils in these pods did not disappoint and the flavour came through really well throughout the life of the pod. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What impressed me was the lifespan of the battery. The 900 mAh easily lasted me a day on a full charge and the USB-C made recharging a dream. The device also feature a handy LED that indicates battery life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The clear plastic pods are also a godsend when seeing how much liquid you have left. Some other pods like the Eleaf GTL Pod<\/a> are sometimes harder to see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TECC.co.uk sells the 0.6 ohm and 1.2 ohm pods, which I think would have been a better option with this kit. Some users prefer a tighter draw and even with the airflow closed, it still wasn’t very tight with the 0.8 pod.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ease Of Use<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This kit is super simple to use. Simply fill the pod, after removing the rubber bung from the side of the pod, and insert it into the device. As with all disposable pod systems, you need to wait 5-10 minutes to let the coil saturate the first time you fill it. When the coil burns out, it’s a simple case of disposing of the pod and replacing it with a new one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Without a screen of any fancy features, this kit focuses of simplicity. The auto-draw activation is responsive and makes this kit very easy to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airflow control is also easy to use and makes this kit adjustable to most vapers’ needs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Price<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The OVLA XLIM SE cost just \u00a317.99, with the pods coming in at \u00a38.49 for a pack of three. This makes the XLIM SE a very reasonably priced device. Whilst not as cheap as similar devices such as the Joyetech Widewick<\/a>, the build quality and durability of this device make all the difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Target Audience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This kit is aimed mainly at ML or RDL vapers, and is a perfect starter kit due to its simplicity. This kit also work well for DL vapers who like a secondary, smaller device to vape on the go. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

OXVA XLIM SE Final Verdict<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Even though I’ve tried plenty of re-fillable, disposable pod systems over the years, I can honestly say that this one is a winner. The feel and look of this kit was something that I really enjoyed. Although similar kits are cheaper, you get what you pay for and in this case it’s the quality. And, the amount of vapour production and flavour drove it home. In my honest opinion, it would have benefitted from a 1.2 ohm pod in the box but you can always buy some as an additional purchase. Also, the adjustable airflow and range of pods make this kit suitable for most vapers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m going to continue to use this device along side my main DL vape, as I really enjoyed the draw of the pods and ease of use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A very versatile device, suited for ML and RDL vapers alike. This kit is a great companion for DL vapers too, as a secondary device. If you want good quality and ease of use, this kit is for you.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
