Appearance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Vaporesso TARGET 80 kit is built with a cage-like frame designed to keep the device lightweight and increase the stability. This also increased the strength of the mod. According to tests carried out by SMOORE Lab, when dropped from a height of 1.5m it is 10x stronger than previous TARGET kits. The shape of the body is slightly triangular to provide a more ergonomic feel. It sits comfortably in hand with the screen facing towards you and the buttons are easy to reach for effortless navigation through the settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All vape settings are displayed on a clear 0.96inch TFT screen which is easy to navigate. The buttons on this kit are blacked out and blend in seamlessly into the face of the kit for a more premium look. The USB-C port is located just below the screen but faces out. This means the Vaporesso TARGET 80 can be stood up while charging. Plus, the battery level can be monitored easily while plugged in.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Performance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As previously mentioned, the Vaporesso TARGET 80 is designed to be a durable pod mod. It is also fairly compact. The 3000mAh battery is smaller than on previous mods but somehow have a larger capacity. According to Vaporesso the battery capacity is 36% larger while the size is 2% smaller. The output wattage can be adjusted using the buttons below the screen and deliver anywhere between 5-80W of power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It features an AXON chip which provides multiple smart features. Pulse mode is great for vapers who want to get a sharper hit from their e-liquid. During a consistent output the power will pulse to provide more of a throat hit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vapers who currently use the GTX GO 80 can use the same pod on this device. The GTX POD TANK 26 has a 510 base to make it compatible with most mods. It is also compatible with the full range of GTX coils.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The 0.2ohm coil that comes with the device performs best at 45-60W while the 0.3ohm spare coil is ideal for vaping between 32-45W. Both coils feature large wicking holes making it suitable for high VG e-liquid as it can absorb the thicker liquid. They are also made from with mesh designed to heat up more e-liquid at a quicker rate to produce larger clouds of vapour. The 510 base features a fully adjustable airflow which can be adjusted by rotating the pod.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For an experienced vaper the Vaporesso TARGET 80 is as easy to use as most premium pod mods. New vapers or those who are upgrading from a simple pen style device will need a few tries before they get used to using the TARGET 80. The pod tank is designed to be hassle free as it doesn\u2019t need to be removed from the kit to top up with e-liquid. Effortlessly twist and remove the top of the pod to reveal the e-liquid insert. Plus, coils changes are also just as easy. The pod attaches to the 510 base through a strong magnetic connection. To change the coils pull the pod from the base and removed the coil from the bottom. The GTX coils for this kit are push fit making them easy to install.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

While the smart features such as pulse mode enhance the vaping experience further. The 0.2ohm and 0.3ohm coils work best with high VG e-liquid<\/a> to produce thick clouds of vaper. The 3000mAh battery can support all day vaping even for cloud chasing. Plus, higher resistance GTX coils are available separately for restricted DL or mouth-to-lung vaping.
