Indeed, Aspire themselves are enjoying quite a home run in popularity with vapers at the moment, from the Zelos 2.0 to the <a aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"\/aspire-pockex-pocket-aio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PockeX<\/a>, its vape kits are in high demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this review I&#8217;m going to see whether the AVP Pro is a worthy upgrade to the original model, and if it can continue Aspire&#8217;s success!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">AVP Pro Specifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Battery capacity &#8211; 1200mAh<\/li><li> Pod capacity &#8211; 2ml<\/li><li> Output wattage &#8211; 10-16W (Red light = 10W \/ Blue = 12W \/ Green = 14W \/ White = 16W)<\/li><li> Coil resistance &#8211; 0.65ohm \/ 1.15ohm<\/li><li> Dimensions &#8211; 96mm x 44mm x 17mm<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kit Contents<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1 x Aspire AVP Pro battery<\/li><li>1 x AVP Pro pod<\/li><li>2 x AVP Pro coils<\/li><li>1 x USB-C cable<\/li><li>1 x User manual<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Appearance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Aspire have a knack for product design and aesthetics, which shines through with the AVP Pro. The overall appearance is similar to the original model, but with enough differences to make you take note.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The smooth body fits comfortably in the hand and the mouthpiece itself is very ergonomic. Aspire loosely modelled this vape pod on a sports car, which accounts for its sleek lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I really like the carbon fibre panels on the side of the device, It adds a quality feel to the unit and really finishes off the whole look. The airflow also blends in nicely and feels like it belongs rather being tacked on for the sake of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Performance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m just going to come out and say it; I&#8217;m not the biggest fan of pod devices&#8230; The reason being is that they just don&#8217;t quite deliver that nicotine hit I get with larger, more powerful vape kits. This being said, the AVP Pro managed to gain a fan out of me!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The replaceable coil option for me is absolutely the way to go, as it provides more vapour and flavour in my opinion. Disposable pods are convenient, but they just can&#8217;t quite replicate the vape experience gained with using &#8216;proper&#8217; coils.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The AVP Pro uses a 0.65ohm and 1.15ohm coil. I used the 0.65ohm option first with some Symphonic nic salt vape liquid, which is great for vape pods. The coil does a really good job of creating fluffy clouds of vapour and spot on flavour! Aspire know their coils, and the AVP Pro is no different in this aspect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The various power modes seemed to work well with the 0.65ohm coil, and I tended to use the high setting (14W white light) most of the time. The battery life was above average thanks to the huge 1200mAh capacity, which genuinely makes the AVP Pro a viable all day vape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 1.15ohm option works just like the other coil, but naturally produces less vapour than its low resistance counterpart. It&#8217;s a good coil option for vapers who want something to hit the spot, without creating large clouds of vapour though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Having an easy to access airflow on a pod is also a win, as it was simple to adjust when needed. It&#8217;s something all vape pods should include going forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The AVP Pro impressed me with its performance. I might prefer larger devices personally, but it goes a long way to say it&#8217;s in my daily rotation now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ease Of Use<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The good thing about pods is that they&#8217;re easy to use. The AVP Pro is no exception here and offers a user friendly experience from start to finish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other than the power modes, there are no buttons to press, you just inhale and the battery will create vapour. There are no screens or anything else to get in the way, so the only thing I needed to do was enjoy vaping!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pod is easy to refill, and changing coils is as simple as pulling out the old one and pushing a new one in. There is a coil change tool included which makes this process even easier; thanks Aspire!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whilst refilling itself is easy, it can be difficult to view your e-liquid level, as the pod contains a black silicone plug. This plug can hinder the refill process somewhat, but I didn&#8217;t find it to be a deal breaker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As far as vape pods are concerned, the AVP Pro is up there with the easiest to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Price<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Aspire vape kits always provide great value for money. The AVP Pro price is very reasonable and only costs a couple of pounds more than the original model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For that extra couple of quid, you get replaceable coils, a fully adjustable airflow and a larger battery than the original. These additions make the Pro model well worth considering, especially if you want to use it all day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re sticking to a tight budget, but still want a high quality e-cig, the AVP Pro is for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Target Audience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As a cloud chasing vaper myself, the thought of switching over to a pod seemed very unlikely. After using the AVP Pro, I am inclined to change my mind. This kit is great for use by literally any vaper, and yes I am including those like me here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Obviously if you are new to vaping then the AVP Pro is easy to use and not complicated. The tighter draw also helps mimic the sensation of smoking, which is ideal if you are trying to come off cigarettes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The MTL vapers out there will feel right at home with this kit, as it offers exactly what you want. The sliding airflow is a nice touch, and allows for a tighter draw if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re a cloud chaser (like me), then you might be put off by its lack of power, but if you fancy using some nic salts then the AVP Pro is an ideal kit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Verdict<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The AVP Pro is a meaningful improvement over the original version. It swaps out the disposable pods in favour of replaceable coils, and includes a nifty airflow control slider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m impressed with how nice this kit looks and feels, plus the performance is much better than I thought it would be.
