The e-liquid found in the kit is one of the main reasons why disposables taste so good. In a single use vape each kit, the coil is designed for one use. This means that the usual precautions that vapers take go right out of the window. You don’t need to worry about sweeteners and flavours impacting coil life relatively quickly. So, disposable manufacturers can add extra flavourings and to maximise the intensity of the taste.
Also, since they’re designed to be discarded after use, there’s no chance of flavour crossover. Like you might find if you have an open tank kit and you don’t clean it out between flavours.
The Coils
Speaking of coils. Most experienced vapers know that you have to saturate your coil before vaping. With removable coils this process requires dropping liquid into the coil to soak the cotton. Disposable pods prime a little differently, as you can’t get to the coil. Instead, you add the e-liquid and let it soak for 5-10 minutes before you vape. Single use vapes completely bypass this step as they have been soaking since they were made. This means that the wicking material has had weeks or even months to wick before you vape it.

Convenience – You can’t deny that disposable vapes are insanely easy to use. They’re also lightweight and small. With no charging to worry about, no coils to change and no liquids to carry, I can see why they’re so popular. Even if you have an e-cig already, they’re great for situation when you don’t want to take out your kit in case it gets lost or broken.

Disposables are great and are vaped by a lot of people. The main issue is that they’re costly and terrible for the environment. Vaping a disposable a day would cost you around £1,822 per year! Also, each single use kit contains a lithium ion battery. If this isn’t disposed of responsibly then it can lead to devastating impacts on ecosystems, as well as being dangerous to waste management workers.
