A dive into the world of e-liquid.

There’s no one answer to this. Everyone’s taste is different and what vapers are looking for in a liquid changes. There are four main kinds of juice which include: high PG, 50/50, nic salt and bar salt. Each has it’s own benefits and provides a different experience. Let’s take a look at the best e-liquid for new vapers for each category.
What is in e-liquid?
E-liquid contains four main components: vegetable glycerine (VG), propylene glycol (PG), nicotine and flavours. Some juices can contain sweeteners and colouring, but most are just these four.

Choosing the right liquid for you coil
Each type of coil can use different liquid. If you put the wrong type in, it can cause leaking or burning.
1.8ohm – 1.0ohm: High PG or 50/50
0.8ohm – 0.4ohm: High PG, 50/50 & slightly higher VG (40/60)
0.4ohm – 0.15ohm: 50/50 & high VG
Most starter kits have mouth to lung (MTL) coils, where you draw the vapour into your mouth before inhaling it into your lungs which is like a cigarette. These coils range from 1.8ohm to 0.4ohm and the larger the resistance is, the tighter it is to draw on.
High PG Liquid
High PG liquids are thinner and give more throat hit, like you might find in a cigarette. This is why they’re popular with new vapers who are making the switch from smoking. They have freebase nicotine, which means that you feel the full strength of it.
Here are three of the most popular heavy PG liquids. Vampire Vape is higher in PG, but the 0.3% is 50/50.

50/50 E-liquid
Probably one of the most popular types of e-liquid among new vapers is 50/50. It gives a nice equal balance of throat hit and vapour production. Like the higher PG juice, 50/50 is freebase, this means that you’ll feel the strength of the % you choose.

Nic Salts
Nic salts are often have high nicotine strengths, but unlike freebase nicotine you don’t feel it on your throat. Most of them have a 50/50 ratio, but it isn’t advised that you use them in a DL kit as it may be a little too intense.
