A very shiny pod mod that vapes really well.
The Vaporesso LUXE QS is Vaporesso‘s newest entry into the LUXE range. Featuring a 1000mAh battery and USB-C charge the battery will last about a day. Also, thanks to its disposable pods and auto-draw, this kit is very simple to use. This means that it makes a great starter device. Let’s take a closer look at the Vaporesso LUXE QS.
Appearance
Now being brutally honest, I don’t like the look of the LUXE QS. If you’re a magpie or like sparkly things then you’ll probably love it.
The front of the device features a glittery panel and hides the LED activation light. Now I do love the light. Instead of your usual dot, the light is actually a little Vaporesso logo. A very nice touch.
The back of the device is plain and the same colour as the metal edging on the front. Even though I don’t like the look of the panel, I would have liked to have seen it on both sides of the kit.
Another thing I really liked about the design of this kit is the location of the charge port. Instead of being located on the base of the device, it’s on the front. This means that you can stand the device up when charging, which is always a plus in my book.
Vaporesso LUXE QS – Performance
Now we get to the nitty gritty. Ignoring the looks, this kit vapes fantastically. The inclusion of both a 0.6ohm pod and a 1.0ohm pod is a nice addition, as it allows every kind of MTL/RDL vaper to give this kit a go. I used the 0.6ohm pod with Bar Juice 5000 White Peach Razz, which worked really well with the pod and didn’t kill the coil too quickly.
The LUXE QS features adjustable airflow by rotating the pod 180 degrees. This isn’t the first device that has featured this style of adjustable airflow. But, it’s the first one that I’ve felt a noticeable difference between the two. Using the 0.6ohm pod, the tighter airflow gives a loose MTL feel. Switching it around to the open airflow gives a solid RDL vape, which I thought was incredibly smooth. Both pods provide a consistent flavour and carry it through the life of the pod.
The 1000mAh battery lasted me around a day to a two days, depending on how much I was vaping it. Also, thanks to the USB-C input, the device recharged quickly.
Ease of Use
Due to it’s disposable pods, lack of buttons and power settings, USB-C charging and auto-draw activation, this kit couldn’t be much simpler to use.
The simplicity of the Vaporesso LUXE QS makes it an ideal starter kit, or next step for disposable vapers.
Price
The Vaporesso LUXE QS costs £21.99. This is a little more expensive than similar kits such as the Eleaf IORE Prime or OXVA XLIM SE. But, the build quality of the kit makes up for the difference in price.
The pods cost £9.99 for a pack of 2.
Target Audience
The LUXE QS is designed for MTL and RDL vapers and works very well for both. The 1.0ohm pod works as a tighter MTL vape on low airflow and a more airy MTL experience with the higher airflow. The 0.6ohm pod gives a loose MTL vape when on low airflow and a decent RDL experience when on the open airflow.
Vaporesso LUXE QS Final Verdict
A decent pod mod that performs really well. If it came in plainer colours then I’d probably use this along side my main vape. The 1000mAh battery lasts around a day and the simple features make the kit very easy to use.
