Check out some of the best sub-ohm and MTL vape kits.

You might have heard the terms sub-ohm and classic, but what are these? Styles of vaping, types of e-cig. What do they feel like and do you need different vapes and e-liquid for each one?
Let’s dive in and take a look at sub-ohm vs classic vaping.
What is classic vaping?
Classic vaping is the most common type of vaping. It involves ‘regular’ e-cigs, that can be a box mod or pen style and higher resistance vape coils. This is a vape coil with a resistance 1.0ohm or higher.
Higher resistance vape coils don’t need much power to work well, so you are not limited to the type of vape you choose if you ‘classic’ vape. As even bigger, more powerful vape mods have lower power options. This means that you can take advantage of larger batteries and get much longer between charges, as you will only be using low powers.
When it comes to e-liquid, people who classic vape usually opt for a 50/50 PG/VG ratio, something higher in PG or a nic salt. These are great for throat hit and flavour, so perfectly suited to the kits used in classic vaping.
This is essentially MTL (mouth to lung) vaping. A more restricted airflow and great for flavour.
When classic vaping you should expect:
More restricted airflow
Smaller clouds of vapour
More flavour
Great throat hit
Cooler vapour
Use less e-liquid
Battery lasts longer
What is sub-ohm vaping?
Sub-ohm vaping is using an e-cig kit that has a sub-ohm vape coil. This is a coil with a resistance lower than 1.0ohm. These e-cigs are usually much more powerful, have much more open airflow and use e-liquids that are high in VG.
Sub-ohm vape coils require higher powers to work and produce a much larger volume of vapour and throat hit. People also tend to lead towards an e-liquid that is much higher in VG, as this is responsible for vapour production and will give you those large clouds of vapour you want. Something like a 7030 PG/VG e-liquid.
Most people who sub-ohm vape DL (direct lung) inhale and use a much lower nicotine strength.
When sub-ohm vaping you should expect:
Large clouds of vapour
Unrestricted airflow
Less flavour
Warmer vapour
Uses more e-liquid
Battery runs out quicker
