All in all there’s nothing really remarkable about it, right? Wrong! The interesting thing about this kit is that there’s a spinning ring at the top to help relieve stress. Basically it’s like a fidget spinner for vapers.

The Explorer look like any other Uwell Caliburn device. It features the liquid viewing window, a sleek appearance and a button. Firstly, the button doesn’t actually fire the device, it works using auto-draw. You see, the explorer doesn’t have one 2ml pod, it has a cartridge with two 1ml sides. Each one has its own coil. The button is used to choose which side fires, fire them alternatively or both at the same time.

This is great for having two flavours on the go, without having to change the pod or device. It also allows for flavours to be mixed for some crazy combinations.

The SQ Pro is a more compact version of the XLIM Pro. It has a larger battery at 1200mAh and uses the same V3 pods. It’s dual draw function allows you to press the fire button or inhale to begin vaping.

Where this kit stands out is the screen. It’s bigger than the XLIM Pro and has a crisp OLED display. But, where things become interesting is one of the three selectable themes. Two of them are static, but if you choose the astronaut, it plays a little animation every time you vape!

The OXVA XLIM SE 2 is a great step up. It has a powerful 1000mAh. It comes with the new XLIM V3 pods, which provide amazing flavour. Key features of the kit is its dual draw function and a handy airflow tab.

In terms of new features, it has the same light bar as the XLIM Pro, which is nice. But, this kit actually talks to you! There are voice prompts for pod connectivity and resistance. Want to know how much battery is left? Press the button on the side and your kit will tell you.

When looking at new vapes with interesting features, the Klypse Mecha can’t be ignored. We’ve had a few kits in this range so far. There was the original Klypse and then the Zip, All three use the same pods. The first two kits were simple, lightweight and minimalistic. They both use auto draw for ease of use.

The Mecha really steps up the game in both appearance and performance. Not only does it feature a screen, adjustable wattage and a fire button, but it looks fantastic! The design is based on the insides of a clock and looks like something ripped out of some steampunk fiction. Unfortunately, the cogs don’t turn but the cost would be a lot higher if they did.

Lastly, we have the VOOPOO ARGUS P1S. Like the other kits in the range, it uses the ARGUS pods, which are compatible with several devices. It has an 800mAh battery and recharges quickly using USB-C. It uses auto draw and doesn’t have a fire button.

While this kit doesn’t necessarily have any interesting features, it has a very futuristic look. As if pulled from a piece of cyberpunk media, it has some great designs. The clear section at the top shows off the circuitry and houses the battery indicator light.
