A bar salt head to head
Disposables are incredibly popular and no brands are more recognised than SKE Crystal Bar and Elf Bar. Both of these brands also make bar salts, which are basically the same liquid but in a 10ml form. Since the Crystal Bar E-liquid is new and ELFLIQ is well known, I thought we could do a head to head and compare the two. So, here’s Crystal Bar E-liquid vs ELFLIQ.
Disposables vs Bar Salts
Bar salts have the same great flavour and intensity as disposables, but they’re much more cost effective and better for the environment. While single use kits certainly have their uses, they’re the most expensive way to vape and each one contains a battery so need to be recycled properly.

Blueberry Sour Raspberry
Blueberry sour raspberry is a fantastic fruity flavour. It’s very popular amongst disposable users and is a personal favourite of mine. The Crystal Bar version of this liquid is a little sweeter than the ELFLIQ version and that’s why it comes on top for this flavour.
Winner: Crystal Bar E-liquid
Blue Razz Lemonade
Blue razz lemonade is another extremely popular choice. It’s a delightful blend of fruits with a zingy lemonade finish. While I’ve always like the Elf Bar version of this flavour, the Crystal Bar version just has something that tops it. I can’t quite describe what, but it’s a better taste.
Winner: Crystal Bar E-liquid
Cherry
Cherry is a hard flavour to get wrong. It’s a staple choice for a lot of people. Technically the Crystal Bar E-liquid version is cherry ice, which is why the ELFLIQ version wins hands down. I hate menthol. But, if you’re partial to a good minty flavour then you’ll probably disagree.
Winner: ELFLIQ
Kiwi Passionfruit Guava
Kiwi passionfruit guava is an exotic medley that’s available in most disposable and bar salt ranges. Between the two, it was very hard to choose. They’re very similar and both tasted great. After much internal debate, I decided that I preferred the Crystal Bar E-liquid version.
Winner: Crystal Bar E-liquid
Pink Lemonade
There are a lot of pink lemonade flavours available. My preference is simple raspberry and lemonade. Which is why the winner for me has to be ELFLIQ. The Crystal Bar Pink Lemonade is red berries and lemonade, so while it’s still a very nice flavour, it didn’t quite cut it.
Winner: ELFLIQ
Watermelon
Watermelon is probably the most popular flavour in nearly every range. It’s always a solid choice and a personal go to whenever I have to try a new brand. Between the two I definitely prefer ELFLIQ, as the Crystal Bar one is Watermelon Ice.
Winner: ELFLIQ
Crystal Bar E-liquid vs ELFLIQ Winner
It’s actually a tie! This isn’t surprising, since they’re both fantastic bar salts. Crystal Bar E-liquid is still fairly new, but I’d recommend trying it. It’s the same price as ELFLIQ at £2.99 per bottle or 4 for £9.99. And for ultimate convenience, you can even get it in a subscription! For just £25.00, you get 12 bottles sent directly to your door every 2-6 weeks.
